Shoulder pad size...

Looking at the recently released gameplay videos the size if the shoulder pads on the players looks way to big, i know a developer said they can tune body size for players through roster updates but will these huge shoulder pads be included because as of now its giving me a 80s or 90s feel with the pads being so big.

How do you guys feel about the look of the pads this year?

Agree with you , but pretty sure that it's something that is easy to rectify before release

Shoulder pad size...

They look incredibly bulky and come out too far past the shoulders. I don’t understand it. It could be argued that was one of the few things they had right already.

In the Saints vs Panthers video the guy says there's an in game glitch that deals with the shoulder pads and that is already fixed.

He said he’s talking about a specific glitch that doesn’t even occur in the video he says.

That's what several of the developers said at E3 also. There is a known bug with shoulder pad size that they will fix by launch. Concern of mine also. Anyone hear the same?

Yes the shoulder pads look horrendous.

It's not bad on everyone. It reminds me of 2k5 a little bit where everyone was wearing TOs pads. TO, Moss, other tall, slender dudes looked great, but outside that body type it was off.

They need to bite the bullet and just model the various brands/models because the scalable torso just never quite works.

You can def tell difference between gameplay shoulder pads and the franchise clips. Pads size looks perfect on those edit player vids.

I also hate that some of the players have tiny heads. Saquon and lamar jackson comes to mind.

I don't think face scans were added at that point of the cycle. Garoppolo should have his scan at release.

As long as the player builds and player movement mechanics are cleaned up (makes sense since we're seeing a beta version of Madden in May) this could be the best Madden in a long time. Love the attention they gave to franchise. Hopefully this is a new trend with the staff changes at Madden.
