My issue is non HDR users and 1080p players aren’t benefitting from this whatsoever. I still play on a 1080p monitor (perfect for the size and distance from eyes) and yet I’m suppose to cater to lighting effects that favor 4K/hdr players. Battlefield and battlefront give me nice options on how bright and how much contrast I won’t. With maddens toolset, it’s a joke. Every option in those accessibility settings is an extreme jump in between each option. Just give me better settings for visual aspects (better brightness, contrast, hdr sliders). If it’s in the other games, it shouldn’t be an issue adding it into madden

HDR Off in console settings is the only way I've been able to get an acceptable appearance. It only takes a couple seconds to change it, so it is a minor inconvenience, but it sucks knowing that I am losing out on what should be the best visual experience.

There is definitely something very wrong with the game that is affecting some percentage of users, so hopefully it is fixed sooner rather than later, or never at all.

I just got the PES 2019 DEMO, it has a hdr brightness slider, the game looks good.

To me, it's just some 1 pm lighting in outdoor stadiums looks almost like I'm wearing sunglasses and has this yellowish sun tint to it that you see at a 4 pm game. Last year's 1 pm lighting was perfect. And this year's lighting outside of 1 pm games in outdoor stadiums is pretty beautiful to me with a few exceptions here and there. I think we're onto something. But it might not be as drastic as some claim.

This is what I've been saying all along. Night, overcast, and evening games are fine. It's bright and sunny 1 PM games that look off.

So I've been trying to replicate the issues everyone has been talking about. Trying to narrow things down as I'm sure there's a common denominator somewhere. But have to be honest, I haven't had any issues with lighting on my X. I'm playing a 1pm game at Lucas oil right now with the stadium open. I have seen the lighting issues on YouTube vids so I believe it's there, however I'm just not personally seeing it. I'm just curious to those who have experienced it, is it particular stadiums at particular times of the day ? Just looking to help.

Yeah I too believe there is an issue but I'm not seeing it at all on my Xbox One X. I'm curious to see what they figure out

Yeah but Dallas has the opening and on my pc Madden 19 the Cowboys stadium is like one of the darkest places I've seen

Anybody else noticed there as just as many clouds in a clear day game as a partly cloudy game ? All on PC ultra everything maxed out GTX 1080

That video nails it though I didn't see the issue quite that bad in the beta. The angle that shows the players on the field compared to the sideline players, the difference is irrefutable. Same with the players in real-time vs the replay.



In the replay, the players on the field and on the sideline are "lighted" the same.



Plenty of people brought this up during the beta, I still can't believe nothing was done about it.
