Re: This is the problem with mods forcing our posts into Q&A and impressions threads

Threads getting closed due to moderators (or, I guess a specific one in this case) claiming that someone (who expressed their frustrations regarding the difference in attention between MUT and Franchise by the devs/Ea) has an agenda is kinda funny given the fact that I've only ever seen this particular moderator emphatically defend the game and absolutely crap on people (who mostly have legit criticisms of the game) who express their feelings and frustrations, and close threads because of it.
I just don't think closing threads is the answer unless it's something that's factually false. One thread was closed cause a guy had high injuries and claimed it was a bug. That's fine to close in my opinion cause it clearly isn't a bug. Just a slider issue.
Closing a thread because someone thinks that MUT is the enemy of sim (which I agree with, but that's a whole other post of analysis and discussion) shows very clear bias/agenda. That's just what I think.

Honestly that thread was trash. Should've closed it based on the fact OP had one huge *** paragraph that most people would skim at best. I tried to read it, I really did but it's so hard to keep up when there isn't any formatting.

And honestly yeah "mut is the enemy of sim" I'd agree with that. But my god there is about 1 huge thread a month on it. At some point do we always have to keep having this discussion. It's nauseating and I'd rather have a push for more interesting and nuanced conversations about other topics.

No arguments from me. That's fair.

Like I totally get the point about it seeming like Mods are being to pro Ea vs anti and that's being shown with them closing the thread. I just don't think applies with this thread.

So for example there was the Madden Yay Nay thread a while back right? Which basically was a pro madden 19 vs anti thread. And I'd say had a large amount of anti Ea and Madden sentiment. Which is good and healthy imo. They only recently closed it once everyone really got their say in.

            Enough is enough.

From the forum Terms of Service, emphasis mine:
The staff on Operation Sports are here to help you enjoy sports gaming. We are here to make your time on these forums enjoyable, and to make it easy for you to find the information you need about all sports games. That being said, if one of us says something to you, take it to heart. Your response is not necessary. If you have a problem, PM the staff member or admin. Any public argument with any of the staff will result in your immediate banning. The staff is held accountable for their actions behind the scenes, and your opinion does matter. But a public argument does no good for any party involved.
Any more of this and we're going to start actually enforcing what the TOS says. We've been really nice, all things considered.

            Closed.
