Is there a way to fix QB rushing stats in CFM

Guys like Lamar Jackson and Cam Newton don't even rush for 100+ yards. This ruins scrambler types.

The fix probably needs to come from EA and they are aware of it.

Not sure if and when it will be addressed.

Nope. Not until they (possibly) patch it

Really wanted to do a fantasy CFM building around Lamar but theres no way I will be with the way the sim stats are as I certainly won't be playing every game. Really disappointing.

This is my biggest gripe. Cant start my franchise until this is patched. How does this get past testing????

You think they spend that much time away from mut and longshot to test?????

The same way it got past testing the last few iterations of the game.

That’s the most frustrating thing, if you make a mistake in life you generally remember it and try to avoid doing it again.

How does the same simple stuff get forgotten about each year? Honestly baffles me.

couldnt agree more. Time after time this gets missed ... how? why? its unacceptable. This is just one of many reasons why EA has such a poor reputation.

The CPU punts into the wind are an even more egregious example. This is the 4th year in a row where the CPU punters will punt straight up into the air when they have wind of 9+ Mph in their face. They even patched it one year only to have it return.

They know this stuff is bugged, they just don’t bother to put resources into fixing it. I wouldn’t bother either if I had a monopoly. You sheep will get what you get and like it.

Just know that Big Brother loves you.

I used to scream “Do it to Julia!” but what’s the point anymore?

Just buy the game used each year, that is what I do in order to avoid supporting EA’s monopoly.

And the point you make that if it is a 9+ MPH wind is what irks me: If the wind is at 3 MPH it doesn't happen; if the game is indoors it doesn't happen, so a 'FIX' is somewhere buried in the coding that if the value = X this happens or if game = indoor this happens...so if the wind were always set to 0 we wouldn't have the issue, and I doubt anyone at this point would care if all outdoor games were with 0 MPH winds. The game generates random wind values that I don't know you see at the outset at all; If I COULD see the wind at the start of games, I'd constantly exit and restart that game until I had a low wind speed knowing that this would not impact gameplay, as my workaround.

On the QB running , in 17 i tried changing ALL QBs to scramble and increased their speed, elusiveness, acc/agility, RB Vision etc; I tried to give them these higher values in hopes that there was a logic that if a situation arises if the trait was to scramble and the running traits were high enough the QB may run. There was very minimal positive impact; I had much more success in seeing running numbers for QB with the read option, using a playbook that emphasized this, so Cam and Colin had more designed runs. But I was never able to get a true 'scrambling/running' QB feel into the game at all.

I love how season goals for scrambling qb’s are 500 yards. Mayfield, who has decent stats has fumbled for me 30+ times in the first season on 50 attempts. He doesn’t fumble nearly as much on sacks but every time he passes the LOS he dumps the ball. Not using moves, not low on fatigue. I’m surprised I haven’t edited his carrying to 99 out of frustration yet.

                        You gotta slide with quarterbacks.

It sounds to me with the low QB rush yards, the fumbling when touched and the reported goofy look when the QBs do actually run that using Eli as the model for the running QB wasn't a good idea!

Bump, does Flazko's method work by chance? https://forums.operationsports.com/f...dden-18-a.html
