Changing a player's position and then his face seems to erease some comments for him

I converted Logan Thomas, a tight end, back to quarterback (the position he was drafted as). I did this because I wanted to develop a Cam Newton clone, and he fits the mold aside from his throwing ratings, which can be edited or improved. Anyway, when I did this, during the quarterback introduction they would mention him by name and that he was drafted by the Cardinals (if I recall; they say something specific about him).


BUT, his face doesn't look right in the game. So I changed it to one that more closely resembles him. As soon as I did that, from then on it was "the six foot six quarterback" stuff at the introduction.



His name is still mentioned when he passes, e.g., "Thomas with the throw" or whatever, but all his introduction stuff is gone.






If I recall correctly, this didn't happen in Madden 18. Has anyone else testes this?

Your first problem was converting Logan Thomas back to quarterback. The guy was garbage lol. There's a reason they made him switch positions

I was thinking the same thing.

It was easy to forget his name when he played QB, maybe it's a feature.

If I do something similar I'll keep an eye on what happens..
