Custom Playbook plays not showing up in game

I noticed this in my last couple games I played in which I used a custom playbook. Specifically, the play from Shotgun -> Spread -> Zona Post Trail does not show up in game. It shows up in my playbook when I am in the edit playbook section, but once I get into game, the play has disappeared from my playbook.

I'm sure that is not the only one, however it is just the only one I have noticed.

I'm sure that is not the only one, however it is just the only one I have noticed.

This is a result of that formation being bugged for custom playbooks. Any formation that contains the "hail mary" play, will give you issues if you do any editing to it. Im not sure why this happens, but my recommendation is to not use it unless you find a playbook that has that set in it already, and don't do any editing to it at all(this includes adding or removing plays from that set).

So they didn't fix that from last year? *sigh*

Will it work if I take Hail Mary out of the formation?

No. Trust me, leave the Hail Mary situation alone, do not try to select any plays from that formation for your custom playbook and do not attempt to copy any other situation to Hail Mary or you will have a mess on your hands.
