Why does Adams line up wide on the left side and Cobb lines up on the right? Is this a setting for my coach or something? Is there a way to change it other than inverting my depth chart?

Recievers line up in wrong spots?
So Devante Adams is my #1 WR and Randall Cobb is my #2

you could use formation subs to place them in whatever spot you want for each formation. -

The number 1 always lines up on the left from what I can tell.Comment

Re: Recievers line up in wrong spots?
Every set in the game has it's own way of lining up receivers. Sometimes the 1 is left, sometimes they are right.. sometimes they are in the slot.
It is most common however, that the number 1 receiver lines up on the left.Comment

Re: Recievers line up in wrong spots?
I'm not 100% sure because I always use formation subs.. but wr1 is typically X and 2 is Z unless the formation inverts them which you can tell by the name.. I think "open" formations shift X to strength as well as others that don't come to mind right now.
and your slot depth chart will override wr1/wr2.
Hope this helpsComment

Re: Recievers line up in wrong spots?
Nope. No other way my friend. Just gotta change it in the depth chart. Madden still has this backwards as proven by the #1 cornerback lining up on the Z receiver, who ends up being the 2nd highest rated receiver.Last edited by edgevoice; 09-02-2018, 08:02 PM.Comment
