I know TDawg sims 10+ years into the future to come up with his XP sliders.


But he does that using online CFM (not offline) so maybe thats why everyone doing those 10+ year sims never noticed.


It seems this affects offline franchise only?


I am in year 3 of my current CFM so now I'm nervous I will fall victim to this glitch... I do not use custom draft classes however so maybe I'll be OK?

I'm in week 14 of season 5 (2022), no problem so far. I'll report back after I try to advance to 2023.

I've made it 4 games into season 6 (2023), no problems so far. Fingers crossed.

Offline cfm using custom draft classes gets stuck in year 4 Everytime for me.

This is so annoying. I used an imported draft class at the end of the first offseason and am about to finish year 3. Will be so annoyed to lose this save, and will definitely be the end of Madden 19 for me if so.

I get that they only care about MUT, but still, it’s absurd they can ignore this.

Does the crash only happen if you’re using a custom class in year four or would using custom classes in Years 1 and 2 be enough?

I’m two years in, have used two custom classes. Happy to go back to the standard classes in Year 3 and 4... will it crash?

I believe it is, people who plays without draft classes dont have that issue

If you used custom draft classes at any point in the game it will crash

Based on what others have said, if you use a custom class at any point, it’ll crash

This is so ridiculously broken and has ruined weeks/months of progress, stats, history, etc.. I'm almost laughing (hey, it beats crying).


Offline franchise, late in the season of year 5; I only used a custom draft class after the first year.. now it crashes every time I try and load a save or autosave. I was ignoring all the other bugs and glitches, but this basically breaks the game for me. F U EA. I might as well just find interest in another f'k sport that has a functional game for PS4. *heaviest sigh of all time*

So, arguably the best addition they made to OFM is causing that mode to not work. Of course.
I imagine that they will fix this at some point, I mean they have to. I can't imagine that we OFM players have become the minority yet. Have we?

Welp, it’s looking like custom draft is the problem as others have said. I did a test franchise with no custom classes and I got into year 2025 with it letting me play, save and reload.

I assume this was said in jest, but the sad thing is that even if they did fix it - they’d probably say you have to restart your franchise for it to work...

Even still, getting that result is wishful thinking
