IMO "smooth" hasn't accurately described any Madden for a long time. I'm in general disappointed we are in 2018 and Madden is comparable to football games many years ago as far as animations go.
Is it just me who thinks M18 plays so much better and smoother than M19?

The animations are a big factor also. Watching players run in M19 is outright cringey at times. Everything is just more fluid in M18. Screen Passes are a perfect example. They are dead in M19. Your RB will literally run into their own lineman or hesitate on the route meaning you’re sacked before you even have time to look up. I’m expecting big changes for M20 but then again, I’m not expecting anything to change.Comment

Switch back to 18 pre nov patch. 19 is visually better, like graphic up upgrade. And certain points play better. 18 is more fun. Mut, online, cfm. All played better to me also. The cfm is a joke year in and out. But ea wont make chances unless the pig stops getting feed.

Yeah.. that's a good example but I guess it's just the games that are still being made that never have versions backwards compatible.Comment
