As for me, look at the avatar. I always start with the 49ers. Then when I’m done with them (usually when the team seriously diverges in real life), I’ll go mod some uniforms and play a different team. Maybe I’ll do the Chargers again and tweak the modded uniform I made.

On Madden PC, exported the files using Frosty editor, used photoshop and GIMP to modify them, imported them back into Frosty, then exported them as a mod, then imported the mod using Frosty Mod Manager.

I was skeptical, but GIMP seems to work okay. Really anything that will keep transparency will work for most things (you’d be turning dds files ro png, but I’ve not noticed many problems; helmets are harder outside of photoshop though).

But I won’t lie, though. It takes a little bit of skill to be able to make ridiculously things like my Charger uniform. Or really any that does custom editing of the format itself. For example, adding the lightning I did or the black to blue fade takes learning photoshop (or gimp).

However, simply changing colors is easy pz. You just have to be able to use the flood fill tool, just like on MS Paint.

Changing helmet texture and reflectivity is actually done by simply editing numerical values, and there are tutorials on where to find that stuff (it’s all lumped together amd a simple word search in Frosty will find the files).



All that the said, you can simply install someone else’s uniform mod if you like it, as long as they are willing to share.

I always do a team from the NFC & AFC.

NFC - Bears (of course)
AFC - Raiders or Steelers

In my online CFM I play with my brothers & friends every year, I'm always the Steelers until the next Madden comes out. It's always fun to build the team the way I believe they would in real life and see where it takes me with all the changes after time.

Also, every year the new rookies have me hyped. This year's trade up in the draft for Devin Bush has me excited for the future. We finally have a guy to come close to replacing Shazier. So I can't wait to build my defense around him.

I will be running one as my team the Lions like I always do. Then I usually run another franchise or two, one with a team that interests me based on scheme or certain players and another a tough rebuild situation. The other teams that interest me this year are the Cardinals, the Chiefs and the Browns. For a rebuild franchise I think Miami would be the hardest but I don't know if they interest me enough. I'll wait until the game drops to see the official rosters and decide from there. My online 32 user franchise I'm at the mercy of what pick I get in the team draft.

Carolina Panthers. Cam Newton was a monster in the beta and DJ Moore was my Tyreek Hill. Dude had 40 catches for 1,324 yards and 14TD. I bet 90% of those catches were on streaks. Also, Eric Reid plays like Ed Reed when I user him. He was a straight up ballhawk. TBH, I see myself getting bored with the CFM after the 2nd season, so I'll probably use Panthers for the first one and play the rest of my Franchises with the College Football mod. CFM just wasn't deep enough to warrant 20 seasons worth of NFL/non-college football.

I see myself getting bored with the CFM after the 2nd season, so I'll probably use Panthers for the first one and play the rest of my Franchises with the College Football mod. CFM just wasn't deep enough to warrant 20 seasons worth of NFL/non-college football.

I'm a bigger NFL fan than college football fan although it's close I love football in general. But video game wise I really miss the NCAA football series. Besides the depth of dynasty mode another thing that made it so fun was because guys only play for you for 3 or 4 years you have essentially a whole new team every couple of seasons.

Madden 19, I rolled with Arizona for two seasons (the second being a relocated Houston Gunners, winning a SB), then I switched to Titans, winning another SB in my second season in Nashville.

I plan on playing much more seasons in Madden 20, perhaps as my Packers, as long as gameplay in final product is anywhere near the beta and they don't patch the hell out of it. But I also think about controlling 2 teams, the second one being a 4-3 defensive scheme team from AFC (the Colts?)...
