You download an EA Access app on your console and then you subscribe through that app. You need that app on your console in order to get the discount and the free trial. It's not like Steam where you have to go into Steam in order to access your game, but it's just something you have to have on your console and be signed into in order for it to recognize your subscription.

Do they do any Free Trials for EA Access?

I don't play any other EA games, and would like to try out Madden this year before purchasing it (have passes the last few times). A Demo would have been nice.

No they cannot. My bro has ea access and we do game share. He technically has the ea access membership and his profile is set on my xbox as the home console for him but i have to get the vault games and ea access separately. We share games and xbox live, but ea access isn't shared in the same way.

On my Xbox, my kids have their own profile. I've found that they cannot go into the Vault to download games on their profile, but if I download the game to my console myself on my profile then they can access it on theirs anytime (they love Peggle 2 lol).

So maybe log in on your box using your bro's account for just a few minutes and download what you want, and then try accessing it from your profile when you want to use his Access. Not sure if that'll work, just spitballing [emoji848]

On my Xbox, my kids have their own profile. I've found that they cannot go into the Vault to download games on their profile, but if I download the game to my console myself on my profile then they can access it on theirs anytime (they love Peggle 2 lol).

So maybe log in on your box using your bro's account for just a few minutes and download what you want, and then try accessing it from your profile when you want to use his Access. Not sure if that'll work, just spitballing [emoji848]

No problem. My oldest plays a lot of Need for Speed and they both enjoy Peggle 2, and both are Vault games. Should work for ya, especially since his profile is on your console.

This is what I was questioning earlier. While I’m 99% certain trials and discounts only apply to the sub account I have seen some say if vault content is added/downloaded by the sub on the system set as home it can be used like all other content by multiple users.I don’t yet have access so I am only speaking on what I’ve seen some say.

Right but what about the EA access library of games placed in the vault? Can non subs use those on the console set as home much like purchases titles using gameshare?


I don't think trials and discounts can be used but Ive seen some say the vault titles can be accessed by users other than the subscriber.

Yea if it’s in the vault non subscribers can play through game share. Only thing that can’t be shared is the trials because the 10 hrs is tied to that one user

I’ll be going straight into a franchise with my Cowboys and testing sliders to create a set for my annual online franchise group. I’ll probably be doing 2 trials this year so I can have a head start for when the game officially drops
