I wish you could get PS4 digital on sale. It's on sale on AMazon but on the physical disc. That being said, i still think digital is worth the extra $10

I agree, I think once Gamestop ceases to exist we will see digital start going on sale. Right now I think that is what is stopping digital from having sales earlier on in a title's life. We see sales there but not usually until the title has been out for a good while.

Same with me, for Amazon. Is Walmart or Gamestop selling physical copies today, in store, does anyone know? Was it just the digital release of the game today? This is weird.

Everybody should be selling the game disc today. Last year at Walmart I had to ask. They still had the games in the back. That was around 3 p.m.

I preordered the game thru Walmart. They gave me the option of pickup on release date, yet now my order status has been updated to pickup on the 8th! What’s most annoying is that if I cancel and go in-store to purchase I miss out on the preorder bonus content.

Needless to say I was pissed so I complained to customer service twice and got two separate discounts due to the mishap. Ended up paying just 30 bucks plus tax for the game now but gotta wait til Thursday which feels like an eternity lol.

Now I’m just worried they’re gonna screw up sending me my preorder bonus content along with that exclusive 85 OVR Patrick Mahomes Walmart exclusive as well as my packs and Elite of choice. Wish me luck haha

Yeah I got bitten like that more than a hew times when I had pre-ordered a physical copy. But no pre-order horror story is no worse than one I did for F1 2015 or 2016. Pre ordered it from target they kept saying pre-order date was Dec 31. Game released in Aug. So on released date called the headquarters and they said pre-order was still Dec 31. I was places already have it in store. Cancelled got it from BB

By the way Walmart had a physical copy of Madden 20 in store on Aug. 1 (Thursday).

Just keep your preorder, go buy a copy now to play, then wait until your preorder is in, pick up your preorder, don't open it, go home and redeem your preorder bonuses and then return the unopened game to Walmart.

Voila problem solved..you can play now and get all preorder bonuses

I thought about that but wasn’t sure how I’d go about it seeing as how i’d like to keep the game at 30 bucks now. I’d have to return the unopened preorder along with the receipt for the game I was to go and pickup today. Would the upc match? Or would they say hey this is a different copy you’re trying to return?

The UPC would be the same, won't be an issue because they don't have any way of differentiating the games so long as it's same exact same game and same system

Haven't bought the physical copy of a game in who knows how long, and with 1gig speeds most games are playable within 30 min. Digital is way to convenient to go back to walmart lol.
