I had this glitch come up when I started modding the "pocket settings"

The system is so basic and poorly done, its essentially a ton of scenarios with only 4 commands for the QB

None > Step > Rollout > Scramble

Can't really fault the devs bc theyre stuck using some old system that is a rabbit hole when trying to fix... this issue just crept up out of no where on me last year as well when i thought I finally perfect pocket play by the QB... when you change the chain reaction of how the CPU reacts to pressure, some reason this is what triggers in some scenarios...

It can be fixed but you have to go back and deal with statue QBs

Any sliders being used here? Have seen them drop back a bit, but they usually step up into the pocket.

Per other posts, this issue is only associated with QBs with “pocket passer” archetype. The QB faces the wrong way, and stutters a couple steps, then turns back around, then repeat. Usually ends up in 15-20 yard sack.

I don’t control my QB, so this is vital. It happened on 2 of first 3 passing plays last game. My QB is Nick Foles, but it doesn’t happen with my backup who has a different archetype.

They are. I reported it during the beta as well and was told that it had been fixed or would be fixed in a future build. I am seeing it less than I saw it during the beta but it's still happening so I'm going to report it again.

Ya just by looking at that it looks like they tried replacing the "Rollout" command with "Step"

Issue with that is they dont have it programmed to "Step" in the right direction

Also its more prevalent with Pocket QBs because they're limited in their "scramble" scenarios compared to Balanced and Scrambler

So then it we have to go backwards to the Aaron Rodgers rollout escape animation instead of a natural pocket movement..

The quick fix is just increase how fast the QBs make their decision to throw the ball

Well the announcer said, the referee is right there to call it, well we know that is wrong since there aren't referees on the feild.

Maybe like any great officiating crew when they do their job we don't notice them...literally in this case.

LOL I've seen this and it's one of the most "human" things the CPU AI does. Let he who has not eaten a 15+ yard sack in sheer panic cast the first stone.

Haven't seen it anywhere near as much as some of you though.

It may be beneficial for folks to indicate which quarterbacks they are seeing this with or which traits if some are seeing it less frequently. May help in tuning something about one QB type rather than doing something across the board which may damage other aspects of the game.

Same, but I bought. I just like the gameplay. It feels smoother than the other ones. Feels more open too. Reminds me of ncaa 09 a little.
