People need to learn how to use the tools given to them instead of crying for the game to be patched. Too many fumbles? Cover the ball. Too many sacks? Get the ball out quicker. I’m sacked 1-2 times at most during every game, online and offline, and maybe I see a fumble every 2-3 games. People want sim but cry and whine when they can’t handle it.

This is true but only in head to head. I have a linebacker with enforcer ability and he forces 3-4 fumbles a game. There's no tool in the game to fix that. I can't make the CPU hold R1 and I cant make them run out of bounds. I ended the season with 33 forced fumbles which is just dumb and unrealistic.

Note: These sacks are my Defense, My team sacks by CPU Teammates, i don't control them. I'm saying this just to avoid those responses as "learn to pass or don't hold the ball to much etc".

Run Cover 2 Man as your main defense while having an X-Factor edge rusher and you'll quickly see how bad the sack problem is.

My friend and I just reached the playoffs of our online franchise. He's the Cowboys and I'm the Bears. We play on default All Pro. He went 14-2 and I was 13-3.

Khalil Mack led the league with 54.5 sacks without even stepping on the field in Week 17. I do not control him.

Demarcus Lawrence finished with 43.5 sacks from my friend. He does not control him.

There's a definite problem, here. My team finished with just shy of 100 sacks on the season and my friend was in the 80s.

Khalis Mack is the new Sack machine with Bosa and broke every Sack - record in CFM easy. And fast QB's stopped scrambling.

Hope this will patched out fast. I'm not hardcore sim guy, but normal player statistics (No arcade tackle festival with overpowered players) would be nice and scrambling QB's.

I've pretty much only played User vs User exhibition match and haven't had a sack nor a fumble problem. I'd say we were averaging about 4 sack per games (both teams combined) and definitely less than a fumble per game.

Turn the fumble slider down, not up. That causes less fumbles

I believe it's the other way around. I thought turning it down made less fumbles but I was told on here turning it to the right causes less

I think it even says that in the menu when changing the sliders

Yeah I think you gotta turn the fumble slider up. Using the redskins had Landon Collins force 6 fumbles in the first game. Turned the fumble slider for cpu up to about 80 and he’s forced only 1 in the next ten games.

Or you can not fall off into “Slideritis” hell and just lower the few players with high Hit Power down from “90”.

They still animate some big hit animations, just the increased fumble chance is removed.

Dealing with the OP, there’s no middle ground, even though some want to try with Sliders.

It’s either the increased Pressure or Stalemates.

I think the slider description tells you which direction to move it to get more fumbles.

I like Khaliibs suggestion if you're not seeing a great deal of something but it happens more than you want to look at some of the player ratings associated with it. I do think in all these games from EA through TwoK we hope sliders will fix our issues, but I suspect many times it is the player values that could be adjusted. In 17 there was way too many spins and jukes for no good reason; I adjusted all the RBs down about 20 points in these area each and barely saw them after that. That one was pretty easy but in addition to figuring out the slider for fumbles the other thing people keep mentioning is the high number of forced fumbles by a few hi hit power players.

Anyone else having tons of sacks in game?

I did some testing played two games with same settings at Sim style and had over 12 sacks in two games.

Then i played the same two games (CFM) with all same settings but changed the style to Competitive instead and had only 2 sacks in 2 games.

Sim 2 games = 12 Sacks
Comp 2 games = 2 Sacks

It was coincidence or this could be something? I choose this since it says that there are less "random events" but stats wise games felt more balance but at the same time, Sim were more dynamic due the ratings discrepancies.

Thoughts?

I had 50 with Von Miller. Nobody blocks him.

Mack had 55.5 sacks in my first year of franchise. I never user him.

2nd year after 6 games he has 24 already. 6-10 every game.

Not sure if sliders have anything to do with CPU games or not, but I have not had this issue. Most I have seen in a year is 19.5 sacks by Joey Bosa. Also didnt help i play him twice a season and he rips my Oline to shreds. He had 6 against me alone, 4 in one game and 2 in another.

Question. Who do you use. I had cameron jordan and
Fketcher cox on my line. They were old but i got one last season out of them and won the super bowl for the first time. The reason i ask is i had those two plus tj watt and i always user a pass rusher to give the cpu to have a chance and i never had close to those sack numbers. The most i ever got in a game is 7 and those were distributed and that is with cpu pass blocking on 35. I am wondering if usering a non pass rusher/dl makes pass rushers overpowered.
