I have said it a few times everything Headcoach had with Madden graphics.

Coach mode now is..??? I don’t know what it is..you have to control your
kicker,
you have to control a defensive player...would love a TRUE coach mode.
I don’t why this is so hard for EA to figure out ?Comment

Re: What is one realistic *small* thing you'd like to see added to franchise in M21?
Small & Easy (and very overdue):
- Allow us to choose the weather in franchise
- Enforce the real-life max of 5 primetime games for all teams in a season. This is the most annoying thing. Every year if you win the super bowl you're playing 8 night games the following season.
- Allow us to search for players by name, age, other ratings when looking to trade for a player or sign an FA

I don't think these should take precedent over the two things I mentioned on page one of this thread (more information on player cards and an overhaul of the menu hub ticker), but here are some more small things I'd like to see addressed sooner rather than later:
- The ability to export Franchise teams into Play Now.
- The ability to edit existing head coaches within Franchise.
- The ability for teammates to share a uniform number during the pre-season.
- DeuceDouglas' idea for pre-season depth chart management that entails dividing one's roster into a first team, a second team and so on. Also, the ability to dictate how long each team plays for, either as a set number of possessions or until a certain point in the game.
- CPU teams going deeper into their depth chart (beyond their second team) during the pre-season without having to resort to players playing out of position.
- The option to have numbers that are retired in real-life be off-limits within Franchise. With an option to allow them when using a classic roster.
- The ability to edit the amount of years pro for a player within Franchise.
- The ability to edit a player's face while keeping their real-life headshot (if they have one). Also applies to main menu roster editing.
- The head and face editor from Face of the Franchise added to the player editing interface within Franchise (and to main menu roster editing as well).
- The ability to edit a player's body proportions within Franchise.
- The ability to edit a player's Superstar and X-Factor abilities within Franchise (and outside of it as well).
- The ability to edit the captains of CPU-controlled teams.
- Having to select seven inactive players prior to each game (combined with more realistic practice squad eligibility rules).
- The ability to choose weather conditions for Franchise games.
- The ability to edit a draft prospect's personal information and equipment while keeping their ratings and traits completely hidden.
- The addition of kickoff coverage and return teams to formation subs.
- The ability to access scoring summaries from previous weeks' games via the main Franchise hub menu.
- Add the Rookie of the Week award.
- Address shortcomings with sim stats, as outlined by DeuceDouglas.
- The ability to choose pre-season opponents.
Oh, and continue to refine the Scenario Engine, especially CPU teams' usage of it.Last edited by ripcandlestickpark; 07-09-2020, 04:10 PM.MLB: San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics (Sell The Damn Team, Fisher!)

Great point....it’s already in the game right..I don’t understand...Comment

I would love to be able to sort the combine results for starters. Can you even scroll through the prospects details on the draft board without exiting and entering the next? The game has so little data as it stands, and even that feels like it is managed poorly.Comment

Coaches overall (adding assistants, retired players coming back as coaches, and a carousel).Comment

Re: What is one realistic *small* thing you'd like to see added to franchise in M21?
So here's a small thing I would like to see, dev traits regressing again. I want to see the potential for a bust that is a superstar, maybe he gets injured or just doesn't play. He should drop to star the same as he would in the next iteration of the game. I know they had this before and it sucked, but instead of fixing it they just removed it.
They need to fix it and determine the criteria that would regress a dev trait and for that matter all traits. Why does a guy stay undisciplined on the penalty trait his entire career? Traits in general need to be reworked but that would probably be a bigger thing.Comment

Make it so teams can "only" dress 46 players for a game. I know I'm moving over to a bigger feature now, but if that could be coupled with a wear & tear/progressive fatigue system it would add another layer of strategy to franchise mode. NFL Head Coach had this feature - it shouldn't be too hard to get this into Madden some 13 years later...Success is temporary - Loyalty means forever

Re: What is one realistic *small* thing you'd like to see added to franchise in M21?
I keep getting inspired by all the cool ideas on here and adding more. Lol
Presentation:
Overall there are opportunities for cheap bang for the buck polish for when events happen to highlight it so you actually know it happened plus make it just feel more fun. Some of this is there but it’s very inconsistent. Add some FX to play it up.
Front page call outs for things like:
-Player makes big dev leap/drop. Label it based on their draft spot or contract. Sleeper Draft Find! Bust! Diamond in the rough! Sophomore slump! Achieved Superstar! Etc.
-players of the week or pro bowlers should be listed, not just a link to that page
-clinching playoff spot
-any records being broke
All the info is in the game, it’d be great to just present it better and don’t make people hunt for it.Comment
