I agree and what I don't understand is how people are saying its a free upgrade?. To my knowledge EA charged 60 bucks for the standard version with dual entitlement opportunity. Trust me EA has a profit margin analyst and what it equates to is $30 split between two games which is about the quality of what we got with both titles. That upgrade could not have been costly or trust me we would have been charged for a new game well I guess that's what they are trying to do now. 2K offered a totally different experience and they subsequently charged for that. There is nothing FREE or given when it comes to business...The profit margin and cost analysis dictates everything ...So when we wonder why certain aspects got untouched or minimally improved thats why at this point it.s not cost effective. But next year they have the opportunity tio charge and therefore will provide more than $30 worth of product...as always it is what it is!!

The upgrade is free though, lol. No one said the game is free, but you can absolutely get the upgrade for free.

Saints Rams Broadcast Cam, I may be wrong but I feel like the audio is different on broadcast cam. Nice sideline interaction early in the video.

Crowd sounds nice in this one. Seems like it's a different audio mix. Isn't that a setting on current gen where you can have it be more field audio vs broadcast audio? I haven't looked in a few years, but i remember that being there at one point. Wonder if this person chose a different mix or if there's a default one that's different based on the camera angle you choose.


Really wish Madden added the Ea Sports GameCam or whatever FIFA did. Big opportunity there if they could add a nice and functional cam that looks like what we see on TV.

my man I just did a breakdown of it If you bought the original game its $60 correct if you split the games in two it rounds out to about $30 a piece which is about the quality of the upgrade. But EA adds a whole other layer to it by charging $70 for this but I assume that includes backward compatibility for last gen which again equates to $35 . We don't know what the cost analysis is but trust me they aint taking a loss. You didn't get a free upgrade you paid for a game originally to get a next gen upgrade not a new next gen game...Now whether you think it's a bargain is your opinion cant knock anyone for their opinion.

That's pretty cool. The frame drops on these replays stick out like a sore thumb though. I thought it was just the NG Stat ones, but it's start to look like all of them. Some guys were saying those are at 30fps vs the normal 60, but there's a lot of stuttering even at 30fps.

That's a cool add on/ animation. I hate how the camera is so close, which ruins the immersion.

The fact that it seems to be a cutscene and not real time means they could’ve had this in the current gen version. It’s just sad at this point. Just seems like most of these additions could’ve already been done.

As they should, they are a business.

They didn't have to offer a free upgrade. Or they could've went the 2k route and made you buy a special edition to get a free upgrade.

But they chose instead to let their consumer base who purchased the standard version of the current gen game get a free upgrade.

They could've went the 2k route, you're right. 2K decided to completely redesign there game from the ground up all the while adding even more features to an already stacked title. So there $70 asking price was warranted. Madden on the other hand did a reskin and locomotion update.
