Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Lol.. BELIEVE ME, I am trying.. I'm really thinking I might just start an online franchise instead, using the sliders I am using now from Armour's thread.. The micro managing of 32 teams and the combination of offline bugs have me frustrated atm... Honestly, online working correctly with the exception of 32 man control might just be fine for me... I REALLY REALLY want to start my franchise this afternoon... I'm off until Monday and can really make some progress instead of continuing to tinker with settings and read these threads.. Lol..

What is happening is this. I'll use Ezekiel Elliott as an example.

Zeke starts the game at 70% stamina. The sub in/out is set at 80/60.

So, Zeke starts the game and plays til he hits the 60% threshold, and is subbed out.

Because he started with only 70% stamina, no matter how much he rests, he will never get above 70% stamina, thus never get to the 80% needed to be subbed back into the game.

        This is why players "disappear"
Then I find it curious that he starts, as his stamina is under 80. He shouldn't play at all.
I think that's what confuses me.

Autosubs have been borked for years.

It is a rabbit hole that I had given up on years and years ago.

This is as of literally a few minutes ago (time on deck: PST 0600/6am). Before, I had to go in and change it , because default was always "full pads / starters". Possibly, they've set default for the game in general to "half pads / split".

Wanted to throw that out there. Testing is ongoing, talk soon.
I grabbed the Bears simmed to week 14 or 15, not sure, played Seattle and their starters played the entire game( a few subs here & there)

Sent a league invite to one of my other PSN accounts, picked the Ravens & it was set to half pads/split

edit: this was a online franchise

Plleeaasseee be fixed!! Not home to check, but this would make my weekend!! The progressive fatigue issue is/was the #1 issue keeping me from absolutely loving the game.

But you know how fun it is to try

I think the solution might be in a higher fatigue slider and lower auto-sub sliders. Because you need auto-subs low enough so a fatigued player won't disappear (players seem to disappear because the sub-in level is too high, or at least higher than their stamina at the beginning of a game).
And to compensate, the fatigue slider has to be higher so the players will be tired faster on the field and will still get their fatigue down to the level of sub-out. Then on the bench, they will recover, but as the sub-in is lower, they will be able to reach that level and come back on the field.

ok, that's a theory. Need some testing

He would start, because at the start of the game, his stamina is still HIGHER than the "sub out" number. He plays until his stamina goes at or under that number.

Then because he can never get back up to the "sub in" threshold, he would never go back in the game.

Did a test sim…it doesn’t appear to be fixed. I’m not saying EA didn’t change the practice reps; but the final week of the season, most every team that I checked had players “very fatigued” - mostly RBs.

Where is the team Roster screen? I cannot find anywhere where it show's a player's fatigue level as a percentage, rather than the green bar....

Did not really test, but I just tried to take another team with a "new user" (I'm in an offline franchise), and in this new team, the reps were set at full pads in both offense and defense. So it doesn't seem that the cpu changed the default setting.

                          I was in week 8, I don't know if it's too soon.

In my offline franchiseI did the testing playing against the Cowboys, last night when creating a user for another team, I noticed the same thing, practice set to half pads/split.

But the players were still fatigued.

This franchise was started just after the game dropped btw
I'm currently in an online franchise.

Can anyone else clarify as to whether or not progressive fatigue has been altered in online franchises?

That would certainly be a welcome surprise.

Seems they may have fixed it for online franchises which means it will be in the next update.

I will check it on cloud when I get home tomorrow night or Monday (depends on my kids baseball tourney).
