User Interface & Menus Feeling Really Sluggish?

I've been playing Online Franchise (solo) and I noticed the menus are really laggy and sluggish. Does anyone else feel like the entire game's menu is just a step backwards this year in terms of speed? Even compared to last year or FIFA 21, it's pretty slow, and especially surprising for PS5.

I'm surprised to hear it chugs even on Next Gen but apparently the reasoning is that the new Franchise menu is simply laid 'over' the old 'coach in his office' scene so there may be a lot still happening in the background of the menus (there have been glitches where you can still see your coach similar to last year).

Wow, I had no idea. To me, that's just lazy.

Is that both next gen and last Gen? No wonder why it takes me forever to do anything I wanna do anymore.

I'm disappointed with the feel as well. It takes longer to get into the Edit Player screen in CFM than it does to launch a game... that makes 0 sense. It's an area they could definitely improve and **surprise, surprise** we noted this in the beta and they ignored it

Yes this is a huge problem for me. I spend over 80% of my time in the menus as a person who plays many franchise modes and simulating many years of it.

There's no excuse for menus to not be fast on next-gen.

Not only are they slow, but it's bloody inconsistent.. You just never know where Advance week is going to be on the left-side menu, sometimes it's at the bottom, sometimes it's in the middle.

It's very very lazy design and they've gone for the most simplest change they could to make it look fresh.

agree the menus are slow as hell in franchise feels like I am online and waiting for a stream to start each time. it took me 30 mins to start a 32 team control from the long and ridiculous things you have to do to set it up didn't help

I feel this way on PC. Menus are sluggish overall when there shouldn’t be considering my PC specs.

Dunno I only got the game yesterday so I don't know if it's just a new things. but it shouldn't be this slow for the PS5. It took me 30 mins to set up a 32 team control franchise because of the ridiculous way you have to do it. and the laggy menus, and I havn't even set up the rosters yet.
