    If I ever see a unit under 90% fatigue (offense of defense or both) that week we will go half pads/backups which will replenish my starting units really good.

    The CPU does not do any of that....the logic needs some real work. I know they can fix it. But I have to imagine it will take time.


    It has absolutely nothing to do with sliders or the fatigue slider (that fatigue slider is for in game fatigue only not the Progressive Fatigue system). So if you have a tired player he will fatigue quicker in the game itself, If you turn up that slider. I found 60 to be a great sweet spot that will make some in game auto subs happen (Auto Subs at default). I have not had any disappearing players with my system employing 32 team control.

    It is not ideal for those who want nothing to do with 32 team control.

    I am also going to test turning off Progressive Fatigue week 12....and turning it back on Week 14. We have heard that it essentially resets the Progressive fatigue around the league. If so that is potentially a viable workaround for those wanting to use this great feature and not employ 32 team control....then they can reset it to save the CPU from themselves late in the season.

    When this is shut off....it locks you out from game planning and having a more dynamic XP distribution around the league as well as game focus modifiers.


    Let’s hope EA can get it right for solo franchise players.

    For 32 man online leagues....this system works as intended.


    Should I just turn progressive fatigue off if I’m controlling 1 team only?

      So, no fix for the game getting stuck at Halftime in Face of the Franchise and Player CFMs? Or am I missing that in the notes.

        I mean if we're being real, the Scouting Update would have been a main new feature in the base game 15 years ago. With the budget Madden has, it's ridiculous that a new feature that was announced months before release wasn't put in the game for launch. You know why? Because they want people to waste their time and money in Ultimate Team for a month before they start the only mode they bought the game for

          Come on, don't you know that "targeted" means September 1st at Midnight or else they'd better give us a 5,000 word blog apologizing and telling us why it is "late" and what is the new specific date in September it is coming out.

          There will be a lot of folks banned if it slips into October.

          Not purchasing makes the most sense, and if that is too hard to do, then waiting at least a couple of months before buying is another logical choice for people who have a low opinion of Madden/EA but can't stop themselves from buying the game anyway. If you have a "Typical EA" opinion of them but buy one of their game within the first couple weeks, then I don't know what to say.

            Yeah the way they wrote it had whatever fix they did here listed as unrelated to cfm which means unrelated to progressive fatigue. Not sure if that was the Zeke issue people were seeing or what it is that they fixed. Maybe late Sept we’ll get that and scouting together. That would be pretty sick.

              The only time I saw progressive fatigue have a realistic impact on my game was when I was playing a short week Thursday night game and got leveled by a weaker Vikings team. I am fine with turning this setting off when I hit late season until they figure it out.

                No this is not true at all. The choice was have the new scouting for Madden 23 or release it late for 22. It wasnt ready for 22 release. The franchise team wanted to provide it for 22 so we would not have to wait for 23. Has nothing to do with MUT.

                  If a scouting update can't get ready for the launch of a game that it was announced to feature in, then I don't have high hopes for said scouting update. Also, let's not be naive about Ultimate Team, we know exactly what EA and the NFL want and that's more money. EVERYTHING is tied back to Ultimate Team and how they can get more money out of it - the next logical step is to try and convert Franchise-only users to MUT. A good way to do that is promise an update that would make their old save files useless in an attempt to drive them to Ultimate Team where they can get gripped by the addictive nature of video game slot simulator

                  Guess we'll see what happens, though

                        I've had that issue pretty much since the 360/PS3 era, and I'm actually enjoying the CPU QB play this year. I've had lots of QBs test my corners in single coverage on deep balls, and I usually run Cover 1 so they get pretty ballsy.

                          Do you think they decided to make changes to Franchise mode because it's a mode that they put time and effort into knowing it's a huge selling point for the game, or was it because loyal diehards who buy the game on launch voiced their opinion loudly that the state of the mode was unsatisfactory?

                            When you load the game and run sim to the end of game or play play the moments the cpu team often has 71 and 72 yard lungs to the one yard line.

                              Would work if they would give us a human/cpu xp slider. Would enable us to adjust for a lot of issues.
