They all work for the same team and thats whose being criticized not the equipment team. EA should be criticized with this release

This is asinine. Unless it’s five people working on a game, art and coding are permanently divided. There might be a small chance someone not on the art team (not a programmer) might mess with old uniforms — like if a ratings person decides they can work twenty more hours a week to get some new uniforms in. But NO ONE actually programming the game is going to be working on art.

You might see that in studios with five people, not AAA studios.

This is an example of an uninformed statement. I'm highlighting this not to pick on, embarrass, or attack someone, but because it really needs to be brought to light that someone working on jerseys has no control or ability to work on an issue such as coverage. That's the art department.

If you're someone, such as ahovestol, who is upset about what was released, I understand. However, I also challenge you to stop for a second, let the anger subside, and understand that different roles in a team perform different functions.

It's incredibly important, as a human being, to be able to stop yourself and think objectively.

Sadly some do not possess the required number of brain cells to do so.

Can't wait for the 53 man roster update to come out.
Alot of the players on the Football Team are out of position.

Also quick question, I downloaded the lastest roster update, but when I start a franchise (online, solo) none of my rookies have player pictures (when they do if I go to NFL rosters outside of franchise)

Pretty sure if a player gets edited there's an issue where the picture gets taken

Not 100% sure. I don’t think so with numbers, but I know that if you alter the name, the picture goes generic.

No that's not the case here. I haven't altered any of the rookies even players not on my team like Trevor Lawrence has no picture.

If you used the Preseason Week 1 start point for Franchise I am pretty sure that rookies missing portraits is expected; that’s how the game shipped. Many rookie portraits were added in a subsequent roster update.

If you import the latest roster update into Franchise at creation time, that fixes the issue. Going to guess that the Week 1 start point which will be available this week will also fix the issue.

Sadly that is still correct

I thought at 1st with this update that ea had in fact fixed that issue but it still exist.

Inside CFM you can edit a players name and the pic will remain but in play now mode the minute you touch the name the pic goes away to a generic face.

Fixed an issue where auto-generated Snapshots weren’t being taken after games

I don't think this is working? At least on the news hub I'm not seeing any snapshots?

Outside of game breaking bugs like the Offline Franchise postgame, this is BY FAR, the most frustrating thing about the game to me. Might be small to some people but it kills the immersion for me.

IMO TFG’s rosters are night and day better than the official roster but I always end up using a modified official 53 man roster because of this issue.

If face scans can be implemented without restarting a franchise, why can’t this? Also, as someone who plays on XS, is there a mod for this on PC? If I can download a roster with current NCAA player pics (or do it myself) I’d be willing to switch to Madden PC permanently.

I haven’t been able to edit and keep the player picture. At first I was able to edit and keep that player’s likeness on the field. In other words, editing wasn’t auto generating generic player model for the face. Now it’s hit or miss. Sometimes the player likeness stays and picture totally disappears, or it changes and picture changes to computer generated one. Wish they just didn’t mess with this.
