Wonder if there'll be a patch to fix what last patch screwed up

I had the game playing pretty dang perfect, I was enjoying the games and for once did not feel like I wasted money on Madden yet again. Then they patch it the other day. My game sucks now. My passing offense/CPU pass defense, I'm happy with it for the most part, it's not a problem. HOWEVER, CPU cannot stop me on the ground and the CPU's passing game is total BS!

Just an example. Played my Raiders against Chiefs last night. I rushed for almost 300 yards, AND I always struggle in the running game, not in this game with the new patch. And the CPU passing game, that's all they do, Mahomes attempted 70 passes in that game. Yeah, that's not a typo, 70 freaking passes. Ok, went into OT, it was I believe 63 or 64 attempts in regulation.

Been seeing what you're describing on All Madden since launch. Try messing with some sliders.

I've played a handful of games since the patch and am not seeing a bit of this at all.

I'm not seeing what you describe either. I played two franchise games on All Madden, PS5. I didn't see this, but it's not enough of a sample size.


You haven't given any context. Are you playing rookie level on last gen? Are you playing All-Madden on next gen? Somewhere in between? One game isn't enough of a sample size.

I was really looking forward to starting my franchise after seeing how good my games were playing. Now the patch has screwed me.

Put these in and follow the thread called “Hands down the best sliders I have ever used“ in the slider section. This set is amazing.

So, he went 64-70 against you? That's pretty piss poor defense man lol. I think you should consider replacing your DC.

Does your coach by chance have the talent that makes opposing teams value your players as if they had an additional development trait?

Did you take the coaching tree upgrade that has the AI value your players as one development trait higher? If so, the AI sees all your practice squad players as Star development. Known bug, highlighted early on.

My initial thoughts with this are "practice injuries" being a thing now.

So when this happens to the cpu if a position is below min req. They source from the practice squad pool (since this is a frequent occurrence) it negates the cpu from signing 8-17 free agents per regular season.

Because if the whole league did that the free agency pool would get diminished probably before week 5 lol

So yea the uptick in my theory would be they are using it moreso now to fill there rosters

The coach skill could also be the culprit

That skill is definitely the culprit. It started happening to me so I used the skill to redo the tree and stopped before that value higher dev skill. The constant poaching of virtually my entire practice squad stopped.

Went through 15 weeks with it off and there was one taken here and there, not rebuilding the entire practice squad every week. I then added it back and every single week the CPU took virtually the entire practice squad.

I have done this a couple of times with the same result every time.
