Can a CFM be started in Any Week?

Just trying to make a plan for restarting my CFM when the update drops.

Take for instance the NFL season was in week 6. When i chose to restart my CFM can I start my new one in week 6?

I do this quite often. When I'm not invested in a CFM I enjoy tinkering around in Play Now. After completing a game you are given the option the season in franchise mode.

Just now I finished playing the Raiders/Chargers game that is on MNF tonight, and then right after continued the season in franchise mode and played the Bears who they host next week.

Yes, you can do this.

Most of the time, Tiburon tends to add a new weekly start point for Franchise every Thursday in conjunction with the release of the frontend roster update. Each start point has up-to-date game results, statistics, player ratings (each start point uses that week's roster update as the stock roster), and injuries (though given how the CPU aggressively moves players with pre-existing injuries to Injured Reserve during the franchise creation step, you might not want to use those).

In previous Madden’s you had to do an ONLINE Franchise in order to start at a particular week with all previous stats recorded.

That said you still should be able to exert a great deal of control of the league as one coach by simply retiring and creating new characters, fixing the issue, then retiring and going back to your main team.

Just can’t control the draft this way.

Unfortunately seeing all the fired coaches get hired in year 2 is an immersion breaker for me, and the only way to prevent that is with T32 which you can't online.

Why can't EA find a way to let people start a franchise offline in the current weke?

They've been trying to push everyone to cloud cfms for years. I don't think they're putting time into adding features for offline cfms. What i don't understand is why they won't let us control all 32 in cloud leagues. There should be a setting to make it a one user league that gives us that ability. I'd love a simple way to manage everything for all 32 teams in cloud leagues.

Can’t you turn off coach firing in settings?
