Man, I'd love to make the switch.

    1. Do these mods help the CPU become better at managing games? Does it help the CPU make better decisions when trying to pick up 1st downs on 3rd down?

    2. I'm purely a CPU vs CPU spectator guy. Do these mods work well with that concept?

    3. Can updated true to life draft classes be downloaded year after year for the same title (i.e. Madden 22)?

    4. Is it possible to download an updated roster and NFL schedule year after year for the same title (i.e. Madden 22)?

      1. Yes, with Sabo's Gameplay mod.
      2. Yeah, they work fine with CPU v CPU
      3. Not entirely sure what you mean, but for M22 our draft class guy (Eli) has classes made from 2022-2027, and we also have retro draft classes dating back to 03.
      4. Prime is the roster guy, and usually puts something out in the offseason. Regarding schedule stuff, that is tied to the franchise that you're using. The Start Today mod (made by me) updates the schedule to be accurate when it's announced in the offseason.

Has there been any indication that Madden 23 will be next Gen on PC? That could be sick in addition with the mods.

From what I understand, the XBox console series is basically a purpose-built PC with a locked down operating system. Sony is the one that went their own way with the PS3 but I understand they have come closer to PC underpinnings since then.
Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.

Now I'm getting no sound and the game crashes right when a game starts.

Your best bet to get answers and responses to Madden 22 is on the discords

Is their a mod to get the announcers to say custom draft players names if you edit them? One thing I hate that they changed after madden 20 is if you edit their names you lose their audio.

Got a new gaming laptop and was able to give Madden 22 a try with the mods that Sabo, sinthros, BR, and everyone else have been tirelessly working on.

The gameplay is challenging for me for a lot of reasons so far, namely 1.) I'm switching from NG physics back to current-gen physics, and 2.) Sabo's much-needed edits have made the game play and feel a lot differently. That said, it's completely revived my love of the series.

The offseason is completely different than how it plays out in the vanilla game--the cap isn't stopping teams from signing free agents, positions are being appropriately valued during the draft, etc. Haven't finished my first season yet, but I can't wait to see teams hire coordinators away to be HCs as well as see how Tdawg's progression mod handles things.

This! The game has an annual development cycle, which makes it difficult for me to believe that whatever changes two or three talented guys plugged into the code cant be done by the actually developers of the game. Its extremely odd imo. I mean, its already done, its not like they need to spend time figuring it out.

I imagine it to be Sabo passing off his notebook and saying, "guys this is it, easy day copy and paste, do it for the culture, have at it" lol.

TDawg's Progression Tool is a complete game changer. It is such a fresh breath of air to have a dynamic league of players instead of seeing the entire league just continue to get better continually. It's also so much more realistic in how hard it is to find a franchise QB. If you're in a rebuild and looking for a new signal caller, you could draft a player first overall and even if he comes with Superstar Dev Trait, you could go into Year 4 with him only progressing only two or three overall points if anything, prompting you to possibly trade him to a big bidder or try and draft a replacement before his rookie contract is up. In vanilla Madden that situation would never happen. Unless you purposefully make that QB throw INT after INT, as long as he plays he'll be a Mid 80s player and one of the best young guys in the league. Not true with the Progression Tool.

I've been wondering what the disconnect is between developers and modders when it comes to this kind of stuff. Why are some modders able to make a better experience when it comes to gameplay and to franchise type modes with logic and stuff like that.

Something I've been wondering for a while and might have to research this.

Although, someone might know the answer already, so I really would love to know.

I imagine a lot of it is how EA wants to build and market the game. It's somewhat a question of resources (MUT is more profitable than Franchise), but I think it's also a question of hardcore vs. casual fans. I'm sure a lot of casual fans wouldn't enjoy TDawg's progression tool because they're in it more for the "leveling up" and beating the tar out of the CPU experience than they are for an authentic NFL simulation,

At least, I'm sure that's how the brass at EA sees it.

I'm new to PC gaming. Is it hard to apply the mods to the game or relatively easy?

With the Mod Manager it couldn't be easier. All you have to do is download the Mods, import them into the Manager and launch the game right through the Manager. Easy as pie!

Mods are easy. The MyFranchise app makes it super easy to do modded progression and more. Never a better time than to join the Madden PC group
