Does giving the CPU a custom playbook still cause the game to crash?

Re: Using 2 controllers with custom playbooks for CPU vs CPU games
The best thing may be for me to do a video on twitch and just show myself making playbooks. I’ve got a microphone, so I an talk as I do it.
may be better if a few people showed up to ask questions or tell me to slow down and to repeat something I say or tell me to explain it better. Seems like several people are interested in the custom playbooks.
If y’all want to schedule some kind of time and I’ll do the video so people can be there. I feel like there will be tons of follow-up questions.
Not unless you put too many plays into the playbook.
Whichever playbook you use, don’t add more plays than what the original playbook already had. So if a playbook has 497 plays, never go over 497 plays.
Not sure if this crash issue is still true. Dont have next gen either. Figured this out on madden 19 and have followed it ever since. Never bothered to check if it crashes the game still. For an alltime legends team on xbox, search usertag haughtypine7723

Sorry guys. I’ve been busy making playbooks for madden 16, I found a 1989 roster i’d downloaded. Been lost in it and havent visited this site.

Re: Using 2 controllers with custom playbooks for CPU vs CPU games
Just did a game with the chiefs vs ravens afc championship game and this was the chiefs pass/run ratio with the custom playbooks half-stared 51 Passes/ 12 Runs. What should I do? I've seen the chiefs pass more than 40 times per game every time I watch them. I'm on madden 24 next gen btwLast edited by Zuddyyy; 01-13-2024, 01:50 PM.Comment

Here is some action where i simulated the game 20 years into the future.
Simply half starring all the plays wont fix all of the default playbooks. You have so have 15 run plays and 15 pass plays in all of the first and second down and red zone situations. For an alltime legends team on xbox, search usertag haughtypine7723

Re: Using 2 controllers with custom playbooks for CPU vs CPU games
Does Tuesday night sound good? Anytime between 7 and midnight. Y’all just tell me. I am holding off so I don’t miss any playoff games.
Plus, that gives all the guys on this thread that are interested time to see this post.
The defensive playbooks are just as important as the offensive books. The default defense books have way too much zone coverage and not enough blitzing. That’s why we see so many check downs to tight ends and backs.
On offense, there’s usually more pass plays than run plays. Also, the running backs don’t sub out, so i set it up where i can formation sub a back into a formation and get him a few carries to give the better rb rest.
See, what happens is, the starting rb will get tired as eff, you’ll see him huffing and puffing on the field, and the cpu will abandon the run game. When you have a few runs in each situation for backups, the cpu ai will use these plays when the starting back gets tired. This helps to keep a healthy run/pass balance.Last edited by tommycoa; 01-14-2024, 03:46 PM.For an alltime legends team on xbox, search usertag haughtypine7723
