I feel u it works for me … I’m a franchise head I won’t wait around for a patch & not play franchise so I just made a pre patch franchise . Once I see it’s fixed I can start my real CFM but apologized to every one for the confusion… but for now I’m enjoying the bandaid added with interception slider for cpu @ 1 & I only do the team im about to face it takes me 5 mins top but I feel y’all it is extra

Haven't had a lot of time to test this week due to work/family obligations, but has anyone tried toying with the DPI/OPI penalty sliders?

I've noticed a lot of my interceptions have been defenders "jumping" the route, tackling through the offensive player before the ball gets there, and then catching the ball themselves. It's a lot of stuff that would be a blatant DPI in real life but doesn't get called in the game for whatever reason.

I wonder if toying with the penalties will change either the penalty getting called or even player behavior like it has in years past.

Agreed, but, I have altered Madden and every other sport game

to play the way I want it too for all these years.

Once they remove sliders and take the controller out of my hands,

then we should all have great playing games. lol

Since the patch, my INT have gone thru the roof. I had managed to get them down (thru a lot of practice) but I'm getting staggeringly more now.

Just threw some more with CB making plays they shouldnt be making.

I had this under control and something changed.

Just has a S pick me off when he was insanely far away. I flew across the screen at the last moment to make the pick.

This had become a rarity for me and now it's happening on so many plays, I cannot pass.

What’s the point of a forum if a person can’t post HIS personal way of dealing with a broken facet of a game? Is it because it’s not how the masses would? Or that it wasn’t readily available in the form of a patch. Dude was just giving A WAY of dealing with it. Take it or leave. Doesn’t matter how he titled the thread. It didn’t say “patch dropped to fix INT” so any misreading was done on the readers part not the OP .

Agreed, not sure why people came at this guy for sharing/finding a work around.Dont like it, don't do it. I mean it could be months before thou art EA gets around to fixing it.

Heck of a title.

The best workaround I've found for this is not user-ing the Dline. If you get constant pressure AI QB's make bad throws. If you user someone else they have more time and make better decisions. It's not perfect, but better than the 6 INT games we see. Also, in one thread someone mentioned that Comp setting is better for this... it's not. It's the same. Even with elite QBs.

Honest question and not trying to be funny at all; but what do you think the response here would be if EA took away our ability to edit things ourselves, and we were just stuck waiting for them to patch everything, and we'd just have to live with whatever they did?

I know editing is a turn off for some, and it can be a lot of work, some unnecessary...but I'd rather have the ability to do some things myself than not to have it all all...and that's for any sports game I play, not just Madden.
