It's horrible, yet still funny, and I should have screenshot it when I saw it because it's since been deleted, but someone on the EA forum posted that they put Madden on the cover this year because Madden is DEAD.

Not asking for a date, asking for what they plan to fix, or are trying to fix.

Also, I think Boom's frustration is warranted. He, along with myself worked hard to get the money to purchase this game, only for it to be unplayable. I don't think it's consuming him, I think it's the lack of people voicing and venting their frustrations that is allowing EA to continue these lame duck practices.

Exactly. The reaction to this has been far less than #FixMaddenFranchise which took a gargantuan effort for them to finally acknowledge and release a video.

Lol, if this doesn’t go good for EA, whenever this patch drops, the fallout is going to be phenomenal.

It better be. If we don't get a fix less than a week from now, it will have been 2 MONTHS OF INCOMPETENCE and unplayable game by that point if we are waiting then for a friggin November patch.


Get your ___ together EA. It says you have 12,900 employees... do you know how many smaller and smaller studios do far better and make more playable games than you have in less time?

There is no video game in the world that is worth the level of obsessive targeted anger you have posted in this thread.

The vitriol that you keep posting here rephrased in one way or another is once again skirting way too close to TOS violation territory, it is once again derailing the discussion, and you have already received a warning for this behavior. I am nicely asking you one more time to cool it.

The October title update for Madden 23 is very clearly imminent. Whether it is in our hands tomorrow or next Tuesday, I highly suggest you find a more pleasant way to spend your time until then.

Additionally, I am closing this thread. This discussion has gone on long enough, it is going off the rails, and the October title update will be here soon enough.

If someone wants to make a new thread about the Madden NFL title update preview / Most Feared program Twitch stream later today, please feel free to do so. When the October title update actually drops, we can make a thread for that also.

Until then, I think we've thoroughly analyzed the late September title update from every possible angle.
