I'm a Diehard Niners man! If the game plays well on the PC I might rebuild the Panthers instead.

I can't do a Niners Franchise until they fix Brock Purdy's face and Trey Lance's cadence. Maybe we'll be able to mod it.

I typically do an Eagles franchise first, but with them being so good I don't see that keeping my attention for long. For a rebuild I may do the Broncos and rolling with Stidham as the starter or the Vikings. I'll probably start out with a fun one with the Falcons or the Colts.

If I pick up Madden this year, I always control Dallas. The goal will be to finally get them over the hump and finally win another superbowl. I plan on changing the defense to a 3-4, mainly because they have the pieces and I want Parsons doing more than putting his hand in the dirt every play.

May control all 32 teams so I can make sure the other teams are actually doing realistic moves and have trades, especially in the draft.

I take it back... all these ratings releases are getting me hyped. First franchise when ea play drops is definitely with the Eagles. I'll grab the falcons or colts after that.

Not sure what order I will do them in but I plan on doing at least 3. I'll run one with the Jags as they have started to become my favorite team the last couple years. I am going to do a Texans one and build a fun offense around CJ Stroud. Then I'm going to find a team with a bad QB with some decent, preferably younger pieces (I'm thinking the Falcons because of Bijan) and trade for Malik Willis and build some gimmick, QB run/option type of offense just for the fun of it.

I'm running 2 this year. First will be the lions. Offense going to be fast. Defense has vastly improved. Second will either be titans or falcons. Both are not a complete rebuild but should be fun will the talent they have

The Rams and Dolphins.

The 'Phins were my dad's team, so they have always been a second team to me. He died 20 years ago, but we had some good times playing the early '00s Maddens. I still remember when he destroyed me with Jay Fielder and Chris Chambers while I was using the GSOT Rams!

I usually sim the first season, and then pick one of the teams with a top-five draft pick. It's fun to build a franchise that way. The Cards are really tempting with their two first-round picks. The Bucs, Falcons, and Commanders may also be candidates. That said, the sim usually throws in a team you wouldn't otherwise expect with a bad season (reference 2022 Rams).

Of course doing my team the Titans.

Should be an interesting one since they are trying to hold that "Win with King Henry & solid defense window" open as long as possible. But a lot of big contracts with some aging personnel on top of an O-line that Bishop Sycamore would be proud of it will certainly be a challenge. If things go south quick the full rebuild might have to start sooner than later.

Looking forward to that new draft class slider thing. I like using the generated classes but it will be neat to slide them certain ways to mimic the strengths/weaknesses of the real up & coming classes.

Thinking the same about the Bucs, especially since I'm writing this while on vacation in Tampa .

The uniforms have to appeal to me. After all, we'll be staring at our chosen team a lot!

Looking at some ratings today... I think I'm gonna start with the Bucs and trade for Trey Lance. His ratings are comparable to Anthony Richardson. Worse THP, but better ACC all around and only slightly worse athleticism ratings. Should be able to get him for a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

JETS like always. should be fun this year around. I play my CFM offense only so having a QB rated over 75 to start with will be a nice change of pace! Enough weapons to go around (might be a long shot but I hope our undrafted WR Brownlee makes the game since it's looking like he will make the final roster). Either way...CAN'T WAIT.

Lions - take over NFC North, Hooker in Year 2 or 3

Texans - Lots of young talent + good picks in 24

Jets - try to win a SB and then replace QB

Falcons - Great defensive pieces added, fun / young talent on offense and may need to replace QB in year 2. Malik Willis and Trey Lance are interesting trade targets.
