I think injuries default at 25. I was verifying my franchise configuration yesterday and saw it set at 25. Since I have injuries turned off holistically there was no reason for me to have set that value myself.

Re: Day 1 patch
Injuries default at 10 in the main menu.
In Franchise they default at 25 (but have increased significantly since Madden 23, more like real life).
Be careful importing sliders into Franchise as it will set to 10 (if you didn’t alter it in the main menu when setting up your sliders).Comment

Re: Day 1 patch
No disrespect to who ever stated this but for years they've been telling us All Pro is true Sim and yet for years depending on how you adjust the sliders you can get a form of realistic ratings to play out on All Madden, All Pro or Pro.
There is no level in this game where you leave it at default and presto the ratings take effect more on the field
I highly doubt any of those guys at EA are actually sitting down testing this game and looking strictly to see or observe which of the levels out of the box provides or renders true sim gameplay based on their ratings of the players.
You can't go years and tell me the lack of penalties, mistakes, kickers being perfect or 70's rated OL holding up consistency vs All Pro edge rushers is true ratings impact on All Pro more than other levels.
This game is what the user makes it to be and is willing to deal with regardless of the level.
Not a single person at EA will even sit down and break down sliders and it's effects towards gameplay so I find it hard to believe they take hundreds of man hours to compare gameplay between the multiple settings and determine what specific level is more ratings driven.
If that's the case on all pro if I switch my entire OL traits to undisciplined or start some backups I should see false start and holding calls throughout the game. I should see guys on defense jumping off sides and committing pass interference calls.
I've had this game a few days now and haven't touched a single slider or edit any player rating just to see what would happen and like always it's the same as every other year with madden.
If ratings matter on all pro why the hell am I putting up 40 points each and every game vs the top defensive teams in madden?
I still haven't missed a single FG all weekend and I have one of the lowest rated kickers in the game on Dallas. To make matters worse I tested with Josh ball and Matt Waletzko as my starting Tackles just to see if CPU defense could generate a pass rush more vs me and these two scrubs still held up all game vs SF.
Let's just say I'm hoping with the new ncaa game being rebuilt from the ground up this will be my last madden purchase for the foreseeable future until EA gets there sh!+ together for once with the pro game.
Tired of waiting on patches to fix stuff in November or December that shouldn't have been an issue to begin with and tired of hearing how ratings are legit on one skill level when I see the same crap year after year on each level regardless of ratings.
Sorry for the long vent but these frustrations have been boiling over for years with a company that has proven they can do better.Last edited by Playmakers; 08-20-2023, 11:48 AM.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Well I’ll be the first to tell you. NCAA will not be built from the ground up. It will be copy and paste from Madden with the college logos in place instead of the NFL rules. Do not buy NCAA first day. I promise you you will regret it.Comment

This is my theory as well. I’ve been mixing and matching values for weeks. If I ever find some consistency, I’ll post a thread about it.Geaux TigahsComment

Re: Day 1 patch
Not true, EA has said it is not. It will use the same engine sure, but it won't use Madden's code. There is a difference, although some folks may not know that. And it's certainly not "copy and paste"Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Day 1 patch
When has EA been honest with its consumers? I wish I could bet my paycheck that I will be correct. I haven’t bought a Madden since 2015. They almost had me, but I went to a friends house to play. And sadly it will be another year I will not buy.Comment

Also if you're using Dallas that's a top five scoring offense last year, and the number one offense in the league the year prior, and they only got better this year with Cooks and a commitment to Pollard.Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira - UFC Hall of FameComment

Re: Day 1 patch
same here, All-Madden is just ridiculous. I think men that feel a need to use it, a real need, are somewhat ego-centric, as if they mark it down to All-Pro then they are somehow a loser, lol...whatever makes you happy thoughStreaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20
