It’s more about nfl approval. Some of that stuff won’t pass because the nfl has restrictions on it . Colored undershirts are supposed to match jersey color in the nfl . Cleats are supposed to match colors worn by team . They don’t call it the No Fun League for nothing .

Update just dropped and it looks like they added the Jordan fly lock gloves and air Jordan XI low cleats back in again. Also fixed the Nike cleats that were showing up with one black shoe.

I don't know if all or some teams do this but the Lions don't have "End Racism" on the back of the helmets. It just says "Detroit". I wish they will fix it.

The majority of teams/players no longer have the “End Racism” on the helmets. It should be updated to reflect this. Keep it on the field if you want, but remove it from the helmets.

Just noticed that the Seahawks don't have their "Color Rush Alternate" in the game which means they don't have solid white socks like all of the other teams. They also removed their old grey alt which I believe they retired this year to bring in the throwbacks but it's weird because Madden usually leaves all of the old Nike-era jerseys in the game.

If I recall aren’t the grey jerseys there when you go to create a uniform, you just have to save it as a preset. Not sure about the CR Alt though.

Many teams have players that wear black shoes, and the rest of the team wears white!!! MANY! They need to have at least one black shoe available! For us who like realism, it’s weak. What happen to… if it’s in the game, it’s in the game!

I’m getting closer and closer toward the pc version just so I can mod the game and really make it look as authentic as possible. What those guys are doing is mind blowing. I know EA has restrictions from the NFL, but some of those mods like custom cleats, head/ neck bands, throwback field art, crucial catch attire, salute to service attire and even player specific jewelry can be added.

It is effort. Many players wear different color T-Shirts than their jersey color, and many players wear black shoes on a team where most players wear white shoes! In thr 90s and early 2000’s EA/Madden had a saying of; if it’s in the game… it’s in the game! Obviously EA/Madden has regressed.

Sorry if this has been asked but just got this game for PS4. But why are the Cleveland Browns orange pants not available to play in the game. They still wear these. Is it on the PS5? They had them the last couple of years. Thanks in advance.

I'm on PS5 the orange pants are listed under "CURRENT HOME ALTERNATE CLASSIC" "CURRENT HOME OPTION" and "CURRENT AWAY OPTION"

Just booted up the PS4 to check, and you’re right - the orange pants aren’t there. “Current Alternate Pants” and “Current Away Pants” appear to be the exact same though, so my total pure guess would be that the alternate pants are supposed to be showing the orange.

Yeah, it has the same options that Madden has had for years on last-gen. I’m on PS5 now but I had the old version downloaded on my PS4 too so I figured I’d check to see if the guy was missing something, but he’s not. The only orange pants are the 2017 ones with the word BROWNS on the side of the leg.

Last-gen’s got some uniform issues, which…I mean, last-gen support is what it is - it’s going to be very low priority for fixes. I would expect current uniforms to be the bare minimum for things to get right, so hopefully it’ll get taken care of for those guys. Probably have to message an EA guy on Twitter or report it thru their forums to get it noticed though.
