    Interception after Interception

I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. My receiver is ahead of his defender and every time it’s intercepted I can’t figure out why it is. I have three questions

    1. What should I be doing or what can I do to limit interceptions on long throws?

    2. Can you shift your O line and TEs to block what direction you’re runnning?

    3. I keep getting burned on throws to the middle of the field in 3 WRs sets. I use nickel and a form of cover 3 but it’s not working….. help please.

Need to either lead the receiver, or use total control passing and place it where the defender can't get it.

You can put a tight end in motion, or you can check the play art to make sure you are running in a green zone. Personally, I choose not to run with a single high safety unless it's very short yardage.

How do you put the TE in motion?

O on PS5, or B on XBOBX to select the player, then left or right to move them.

Probably too obvious, but make sure to manually press the catch button for the type of catch you want to do. Aggressive will often give you the best chance of your WR getting his hands on the ball, but it's the most at risk of being knocked out in midair by a defender. The other two catch types are less likely to get knocked out, but are very susceptible to being intercepted if thrown into traffic.

If you don't want to manually control the catch, well.....good luck. The CPU will usually try a RAC catch if left to its own devices (which as I said is very easily picked). Holding L1 to throw a high pass will usually cause the receiver to try an aggressive catch, but it's not 100% of the time.

About INTs: Chances are you’re late. Anticipation is critical. You can’t see something *then* throw, you have to be a step or two ahead of the play in your head.

About your defense question: issue could be anything from your playcalling, to where you focus your eyes during the play, to where you position the player you’re controlling, to how you’re timing your inputs, so, I have no idea. Otherwise I’d just say defense is also about anticipation.

            Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.
