Kirk Cousins comes back to the Vikings for 1.13 million

They still need some work on the FA AI. In my franchise I finished my first season and let Cousins go into FA bc I wasn’t going to pay him 30 million for one year.

He was the highest rated QB in free agency at 80 ovr. No one signed him ?? Skip forward to pre season and the CPU Panthers signed him for 1.13 million to pair him with 80 ovr Bryce Young… anyway a quick trade of my center Bradberry and I have Kirk back for another run at a major discount lol.

What type of unrealistic moves have you seen in your franchises?

Re: Kirk Cousins comes back to the Vikings for 1.13 million

Every year in Franchise I have "the **** list". Basically every player who was re-signed for WAY lower than they should be, or re-signing players that make absolutely zero sense.

Example 1: Jaguars re-sign XF 92 Overall QB Trevor Lawrence to a 6-year, $220 million deal. Yeah... no.

Example 2: New England re-sign bronze dev 76 overall QB Mac Jones to a 3-year 92 million deal after the team goes 2-15, Jones has a 15 TD/20 INT season and they're about to draft a top QB prospect. Why?

Or in free agency, Josh Jacobs hit the market and signed a big deal... with the Colts who have 98 overall Jonathan Taylor. Why?

So team on the list I go in and adjust their contracts to be accurate during Week 18 of the season. If the team's cap won't let them, then the contract turns into a 1-year deal and they're gone at the end of the year. If the team uses the re-sign period to sign them to the same wrong contract... I check to see if the offseason gave them enough money to have the correct deal. If not... I release them.
