I'll take a look at that later today (monday)

V1.05 is now live. Fixed the depth chart issue mentioned above. Also fixed the scouting section to count Bert jump. Broad jump is left out, according to maddenschool its not part of any calculations so it's a waste of time logging it. I also added data validation to all the combine results which in theory will speed up data input.

Keep the bug reports, feedback, etc coming!

Thanks... quick question. Do you have a scale as to the max that potential draft prospects grade out? If I select the best rating/result I still dont see anyone rating out above an 80 (B grade). If that is the max..that is cool but I just want to be sure I am doing it correctly.

Philosopher, I have a question for you: When you’re setting your PBs up, about how many plays do you take into an actual game on the offensive side of the ball?

I learned something else really helpful for guys who want to do a 43 but hate how jumbled it gets.

Well, if you build a 34 book out, then you start adding 43 sets in, you can gradually reduce the 34 sets to only 1 and have all the oder stick.

So my concept book starts with 34 under (which you make make 43 personnel), then it’s 5 different 43 fronts in the order of my choosing, then big nickel, then 5 nickels (33 ODD, 33 WILL, Ofer, Wide, Double Mug) and 3 dimes (Normal, rush, sugar seam).

So that means you can have a legit full 43 PB and only have 34 under o look at—if you take that out it screws up the while thing.

But, up find if you want o base out of 43.

I don't know if this is info you might like to throw in, but Bill Walsh published a recommended salary cap usage chart years ago and teams still pretty much use it (checked it against overthecap and the average is pretty much spot on with these numbers.)

I made a roster spreadsheet that tracked this for players back in the NFL Head Coach days and it proved pretty popular. Really helps figure out where to trim fat.

                QB: 10%
                RB: 7%
                WR: 12%
                TE: 7%
                OL: 20%
DL: 17% (3-4 players should count ROLB as DL)
                LB: 12%
                Sec: 13%
                ST: 2%

Just out of curiosity, I looked up what the average was this year (using Sportac):

                  QB: 9%
                  RB: 5%
                  WR: 12%

                  LB: 12%
                  DB: 16%
                  ST: 3%

That's actually pretty wild how close that is.

I've used this for a while now. This is the best tool I've ever seen. I love game planning and play calling and this thing has everything. Thank you for making this.

Any chance you're making one for CFB25? lol
