So EricRayweather says on his youtube channel that in the new patch that's coming out that EA is gonna be tweaking with the QB accuracy. So if they have caved to the MUT players and Robo QB returns I'm forever done with this game!!

Of course they did. My hope is it only takes effect in competitive style gameplay. God forbid a QB misses a throw. You know… like in real life

Agreed. I think it’s pretty good right where it is. Also really differentiates the good from the not so good passers.

Agreed, but going on past performance I have a really bad feeling about this. While the video mentioned likely "subtle" changes, I've yet to see the Madden team really do "subtle". So I anticipate my return to Text Football sims in the very near future.

I'm playing Second And Ten a bunch. Lots of mods for it to add player pics and logos and such, and it comes with basically every season ever.

ActionPC people like, but I hate the interface and calling plays seems so convoluted.

I was an avid APBA player until they stopped producing seasons. Even home made seasons for that.

I did get into Second and Ten player but, since the ratings are fully stat generated you get some bad quirks. Late 70s Patriots teams going undefeated etc.

IMHO, ActionPC is loads better and seasons are reasonably cheap. They’ve been around for decades now and rate guys well. They do have an option for simplified play calls. Run Outside/Shor Pass etc.

Gotta wait and see, literally don't have any other choice. EA's history has not earned them the benefit of the doubt, though. I'd love to see this only be a tweak to Competitive, but I already know better than to expect that.

He's mostly regs. I will say he makes a good point. I think most people are complaining about inaccuracy when there's pressure or when a player is on the move. But when a QB has a clean pocket with no pressure the pass should be really accurate. At least in the short range. Accuracy should fall off the further downfield you get but I don't think it's that dramatic depending on arm strength. I think they need to put more emphasis on throw under pressure and throw on the run. Another thing they should do is clearly define what exactly is pressure. Aaron Donald has an ability that increases the range he can apply pressure. But what are those ranges exactly? I also wonder if traits play into as well. The sense pressure trait is mostly used for AI pocket movement and scrambling (I think) but does it actually have an effect on the user? There's so many unknowns in terms of under the hood mechanics. EA needs to clarify some of those things. But having passes miss arbitrarily in the name of sim isn't very realistic.

Surprising it listed Daniel Jones and Tom Brady in the same accurate category. But in Madden ratings Tom Brady had 90+ accuracy while Daniel Jones has his in the 80s. Accuracy doesn't take into account decision making which is where the two wildly differ.

All of this to say that accuracy issues should be a lesser reason to miss a pass than pressure or decision making.
