    Starters went on Strike

Started a season with the Raiders and pumped up their defense to be the best in the league.
With that, I traded away all their good Offensive players except Jacobs.

The plan was to pound the run and hard-nose Defense.

My goal was to not play any offense, at all.
Only play Defense and sim Offense.

    We went 15-2

But for some reason I noticed my Staring Defense was never on the field....
    Surtain, Terrell, Crosby, Mack, Peppers.

It never made sense, they were all healthy, just never on the field. I tried messing around with my depth chart and nothing. My defense was full of backups!

I ended up having to play Offense and by God those starters were gone too!

I even went to their specific plays for them, selected Jacobs and it showed no plays for him....Even though he was in my playbook as the Starter. I've spent 2 months on this Franchise and now I can't even play the Playoffs the way I hoped

Another victim of progressive fatigue perhaps?

That would be the only thing I would think cause what you experienced.
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

Do you know how it can be fixed?
Is it fixable? I turned it off before the next game but they were only available to play the first down lol

      What in the World 👀

Unfortunately, it will not reset until the next season.

You can try half pads/split or just backups to reduce it.

          Yes this is correct...

There is NEVER a reason to do full pads/starters during the playoffs... NEVER

In fact, you should be checking that per game... If it's anywhere 93 and below, do half and backups until it isn't

I just turn progressive fatigue off at the beginning of every franchise I create. I like the idea of that feature but unfortunately it doesn’t get used correctly

I don’t understand the bashing of progressive fatigue.

If you manage it correctly, it works as advertised. It’s just not a set it and forget it feature. If you’re going full pads with your starters all season, not rotating during the season, then yeah, you’re going to burn players out. If you split reps and/or go half pads, you won’t have an issue. You can even go full pads all the way through your bye week, then switch it up and your team will maintain stamina going into the playoffs.

                Let me help you understand...

It literally says "AUTO" next to the setting for managing it, so it is supposed to be a set and forget it feature.. But it only results in everyone being dog tired and unable to play.... But fine.. Do it myself....

Why doesn't the CPU use it correctly? Why am I playing against non starters on every team during the entire playoffs but they have no injuries?

So no, it doesn't work as it should or it would be managed correctly and not have ANY teams get so tired at practice that they can't perform in the playoffs.. When's the last time anyone has heard "The starting QB won't be playing his first ever playoff game today because he's too tired from practice!"

Well experiences may vary I guess. Played through an entire season, played the Titans in the first round of the playoffs and not only did my starters play the whole game, but Tannehill, Henry, Hopkins, Burks, Byard, Simmons, etc. all played the full game.

But I appreciate you trying to help me understand. It means a lot.

I always turn it off because it makes too easy to win games later in the year because some of the players on the CPU team will be slightly fatigued. You can even notice them breathing harder before snapping the ball.
