    Evasive move for QB

I seem to remember there was a year when Madden had avoidance moves for the QB. Moves tied to right stick that would allow the QB to lunge/dodge a defender that may be coming at him.

I was tinkering around in practice mode last night, and I noticed that would come in handy now the player movement/locomotion is set where it is now.

The star DE would quickly get to the outside shoulder of the offensive tackle. If I could quickly just side step, keeping my shoulders square.... that would buy me that half of second I need to hit the deep comeback route. Of course the higher Sack Avoidance rating the player has, the more effective he would be at it.

I know I could move my player over with the normal analog stick but what ends up happening is due to the timing of the pass I end up over leading the wr.

I think this was taken out after Madden 17. It's been gone for quite a few years now.

Yeah Madden and 2K have both had it at various points. I think it's a good thing, but because so many people just inherently scramble outside the pocket, it doesn't feel like it probably gets wide enough use much of the time when it's in.

It was in during the days of suction tackling and didn't really work well. But I think that since it's been toned down it could be a really useful addition again.

I believe with how blocking and and player movement has improved... subtle side steps within the pocket would allow for cleaner passing windows. I'd like to see a return. minor feature but guys like Mahomes pick secondaries apart by staying in between tackles and scanning
