Madden NFL 24 Adds Franchise Crossplay Live Beta & More - Patch Notes
Server maintenance this morning so I’m hoping they’re pushing out a fix. Wishful thinking perhaps but this is affecting MUT as well which leads me to believe a fix will be coming soon.Last edited by gman2774; 01-12-2024, 08:16 AM.Comment

I haven’t seen anything. At this point I’d be very and pleasantly surprised to get a fatigue fix today. Would love to play over wildcard weekend but here we are….[emoji35]

Does anyone know if the 50 fatigue and 60/80 auto subs are viable? I know higher values are messed up, but I wonder about the default ones.Comment

Yeah, my next franchise game is the conference round vs. BAL and I really wanted to play it today after work, but I’m not gonna touch it if things are wonky and I’ll risk me or the CPU having guys disappear all game.

Hey Rogue, hope all is well. Tried that on sim and comp and saw the fatigue issue quickly. Interestingly, I lowered fatigue to 10 (sim) with everything else at default and did not see my defense fatiguing. Now, I only had time to run that test for the first half so no idea how that will hold up over the course of an entire game.

Thanks, Gman!
Maybe a workaround is to really lower FAT for a little bit and just live with the consequences for subs at other spots till they get this fixed.
It’s not like rotations worked well anyways before this new bug.
I’ll chime in once I get home and get a look at this.
I really love my franchise this time around, but they keep screwing this game up with patches in not insignificant ways. I’m really surprised at the quality control issues this studio has, but c’est la vie.Comment

[emoji2379]I lowered fatigue to 60 and didn't lose any players. Guys went out and came back in. Auto subs ratios play a big part. I'm gonna go back up in increments and see where things fall. Gameplay wise I like what I'm seeing with the (AI) RB making hard cuts inside/out depending on the situation. Also I've seen more penalties in PI calls and legit roughing passer. Example Ridder was driven into the ground and the DT fell on top of him with all his weight.

I’m sure this can be manipulated to drive the best possible outcome by finding a balance between fatigue and auto sub ratios. Just frustrating that in an effort to fix an exploit in MUT, they degraded the quality of play in franchise. Had this just been limited to DB’s, I don’t think the impact to franchise would have been that bad. Actually would’ve added strategy on the risk/reward of blitzing CB’s knowing it could create a mis-match next play due to fatigue loss. The fact it impacts LB, S, CB, and some defensive linemen anytime they engage in a block animation throws the balance of the game off. While it’s nice to see some subbing, it gives the offense an advantage. Why? Because the offensive fatigue doesn’t decline nearly at the same rate as some of the defensive players. Thus, more often than not, I’m playing against AI players that are much more fatigued (or subs) than my players on offense. While I don’t mind the extra challenge while playing defense, I hate the advantage it gives me on offense. Vs. the CPU that is.

most of the mut players just look for money plays, so ea had to fix there stuff and mess it up for offline players, nhl 24 does that too with hut
