    Which Graphic Option in Settings?

    Performance? Visual? Performance?

Which would you select and why? Is there any difference?

    Thanks

      Damn, that sucks.

On series X I chose performance but no clue if that is the best or actually matters?

I went for resolution on PS5.

        I think;

Visual is 4K at 30fps for all parts of the game .

Performance is a lower resolution at 60fps

Resolution is 1440 with gameplay at 60fps and cut scenes at 4k/30fps

Happy for someone to correct me..

Performance should be 120fps on XSX like last year, that's what I'm using and my TV shows 120fps.

Visuals isn’t 4k at all. The image is way too soft and blurry. It’s definitely 1440p with ray tracing. Performance is supposed to be 120fps but for some reason it looks way sharper than visuals. Resolution is 4k 60fps but 30fps for replays and cutscenes.

I haven't posted here in ages, so let's see if I can remember screenshots.

This is my PC with max settings on everything:

This is my XBX on Visual:

This is my XBX on Resolution:

I think visual on XBX looks the worst of all.

I’m using resolution with VRR enabled on my tv’s game mode, and am getting 120fps.

Yeah, ever since some games upped the fps, this makes the biggest difference in overall quality, imo. I really noticed this in Destiny and grand theft auto. When they upped the fps in both those games, it was like going from watching tv with rabbit ears to HD, so for me, I always go for the fps boost.

Agree with this assessment and for these reasons I stick to performance.

I agree that visual looks worse. I assume it’s the version that has ray tracing but running at a native 1440P and possibly paired with FSR which explains the horrible blurriness of nameplates similar to CFB25. As I mentioned in another reply, I’ll stick to performance. It irritates me that CFB25 doesn’t give us these options.

So is the consensus that this setting should be performance?

The series x or ps5 does not do 120fps that has been proven on some reviewers who test it

Performance mode on Series X and PS5 is 60fps during cutscenes and gameplay at 1440p with no RT

Visuals is 60fps gameplay and 30fps cutscenes and replays but has better lighting with RT at 1440p

Resolution has native 4k with 30fps cutscenes and replays and 60fps game play but no RT
