I’m not sure about defense. Truthfully they all feel relatively the same to go against. There’s not much thought that goes into the defensive playbooks it seems. They just seem like a conglomeration of the handful of basic books and they’re turned into a “team” book.
Offensively though, there’s been some good suggestions on here for run heavier teams like the Colts, Seahawks, Browns? I’ve forgotten a bunch of them. But one thing I hate is how pass heavy teams like Baltimore, Miami, etc are when they have fantastic RBs and their run game sets up so much of their passing game irl.

A couple issues that I think I see here:

Most of the new plays added are passes, so for every cheat motion run there are several more cheat motion passes, and these are what get put into the game plan at a high rate of frequency.

Beyond that, it looks to me like when the CPU has an RPO option, they’re taking the pass instead of the handoff more often than not.

If they patch this, they’ll do it for online fist, with offline 4-8 weeks behind, so it will be a while, if it gets addressed.

My suggestion would be to pick 7-10 offensive playbooks that capture unique styles in the league and create customs for those to assign to the CPU.

      Maybe:

      Wide Zone (SF/MIA)
      WC Zone (GB)
      WC Power (?)
      Vertical Zone (DET?)
      Vertical Power (BUF)
      Multiple Zone (DET?)
      Multiple Powder (PIT)
      WC Spread (KC, JAX)
      Spread Option/Pistol (BAL, PHI)

      Thoughts?

Yeah, that's definitely an option. That's just going to take more time and effort than I'm willing to put in honestly. Having to remove those pass plays from the gameplan and add in run plays in their place is too much work. I just want to play and enjoy the game without having to fix it. Half starring the plays is simple and requires minimal brain effort that I was willing to try lol.
Problem is there's just too many pass plays in the gameplan for a lot of teams so half starring them doesn't do much good on those playbooks and that was a bummer. I'm just gonna assign the CPU Run Balanced and wait for a patch.

Play the moment works for using 2 custom playbooks and one profile without doing all of that quiting stuff.. you just need 2 controllers.. once you give the cpu a custom playbook move the other controller to the middle and give yourself a custom playbook. You just have to press.B or circle when the game loads to get out of play the moment and play regular.. only problem is like someone said you cant make coach adjustments

Yeah I think the better play is creating 7-10 playbooks because you only need to represent so many coaching styles that are really popping off right now anyway.

            You could probably use the:

            -Colts
            -Niners
            -Dolphins
            -Rams
            -Packers
            -Chiefs
            -Ravens
            -Detroit
-Then you need something more 12 personnel-y for Raiders/Chargers/Steelers/Bears
-And then one sort of more spread heavy one for teams like the Bengals (and probably the Panthers etc.)
-And one sort of generic one that's a little more stagnant for teams like the Jets

I would think we have enough football heads to do a community project for something like this, it just would be nice if we just needed like one less step to do this in terms of having to quit once.

I have a second profile on my console (PS5). I guess my questions are can I switch the custom playbook each week?

Example I play the eagles and give them customeagles
Next week I play the saints can I give them customsaints and now stays for them.

Also thinking maybe do a 32 team starting in the preseason to just load in the customs or will i need 32 profiles

People that are wanting to do it that way said they are doing online franchises and using their second profile to pick the team they're playing with the second profile, change the playbook in the scheme/team options to the new custom book, and then retiring the user from the league and the custom book should stay on the team.
