At this point i find it being comical that they haven’t figured out the Roster/Draft Share. Not only that, but they pretend like its not a problem. This is 2 years in a row. Last year, all the classes had to be re-done following the patch if you recall.

But you know what…. This is our fault. No question. We still go out and buy unfinished products, get excited all when we all know that this game wont be ready (on and off the field) til End of October. All EA products. Half ***’d until Patch 3-4. NHL, FIFA, F1 etc. thats also hoping an update doesn’t break anything.

But yet, we idiots go out and buy it pre-patch and are left scratching our heads. It would be something if we acted like Soccer fans one year. When they aren’t happy, they don’t show up. I would love to see what product we see if we don’t buy it until November when its $49.

So much potential.

I come in here most years before launch and tell everyone to not buy the game and not expect somethings to be wrong. This year seems to be better. The fact is is that Madden is not a day 1 piurchase.

Only 1 that I purchase throughout the year doesn't need a title updates for me,
and that is The Show for gameplay.

All other games that I purchase don't get better for 2 or 3 months down the road with
title updates.

Unfortunately, that is the way it is for yearly cycled games.

I say, play the games you enjoy while you can.

If someone decides to wait till the game is better, that is great too.

Yep, I forgot about that one even though I'm still playing it. Good call.

My overall point was that Madden is the not the only game that tries to improve
from launch 2 to 3 months down the road.

But hey at least this time I'm not miserable and I'm not in any rush to play it every day

Because I got CFB 25 to get my football fix right now.

Now I'm not excusing EA for their yearly ineptitude on Madden. I'm just letting you know there's a better option now until **** gets fixed.

Yeah we know they release a beta unfinished product every year bc they’re too lazy to work hard on it during the building process so they use patches as a crutch. Company is so lazy and I am almost begging another company to get the nfl license so we get another option. I’d say 2k but the way they treat nba now is sus, so who knows.

It’s on me that I preorder every year.

Really no reason to buy until it goes on sale since it takes until October for franchise mode to really be viable.

This 100% right here.

When the beta came out I went in and looked for one specific fix (or adjustment) to be made, and when penalties were actually a thing again, I was happier than hell.

So I went ahead and preordered the MVP Deluxe thing with CFB and Madden (did cost nearly as much thanks to MS rewards...lol)

But those days of getting Madden day 1 are over for me, while I'm not going to say anything is "broken", the CPU run/pass ratio being the way it is (beyond terrible) and then throw in the (yet again) piss poor defense, makes it very hard to dive deep into a franchise mode (at least for me)

I'm glad there are folks that are playing and having fun with franchise, but with those 2 IMO huge issues, I can't do it.

After watching tonight's game, it really sunk in ...there is absolutely zero strategy involved when it comes to this game, I'm tired of playing checkers, I want to play chess.

Madden has now dropped to a Black Friday deal, I don't need fancy "new tech"..."boom tech" "Sapien tech" "Living breathing worlds" remember that one?

But I guess it is what it is at this point.

Honestly? I would welcome just about any other company into the mix. I look at NBA 2k, and a lot of folks don't seem to be thrilled with their game either...not unless I'm missing something.

I do like the 2k eras thing though, and for a company that has the exclusive rights to any/everything in regards to the NFL, why hasn't that happened?

CFB came out and (IMO) put Madden to shame, that's not to say there aren't issue with that game, but I guess it comes down to "pick the lesser of the 2 evils"

I've just become numb to the whole thing at this point, mediocrity and excuses.

I will say though, if it wasn't for me deciding to drop down to AP (due to the defensive issues) and implementing Armor's sliders, I'm sure I would've shelved the game.

Instead of clout chasing off CFB25 wave
I had a bad feeling when they hardly promoted this year game and made an excuse to promote college football
Big brother never was to follow the little brother trends

Could you imagine the whole college team working on Madden 😧😧😧
