Would the thread creator release the apps that he used to do the conversion? Im asking this because everybody will have different rookies starting with the 3-4th draft class due to different recruiting and CPU generated high school recruits .

The ultimate goal is to release a working version of the excel workbook that does all the conversions for everybody to use. I'm not there yet however. Still a decent amount left to do, then make sure everything is working right (test runs), then make the workbook as user friendly as possible.

UPDATE 12/28

So I am 99% done with what I wanted to do with this tool. Finally got the portraits, skin tone, and faces done correctly. That was a huge pain in the *** man. But we are good now from what I can tell. No disappearing heads anymore.


Fixed the draft order not syncing correctly(which I think was messing with the CPU draft logic). Now what you see in the scouting screen matches in the edit draft class screen.


I've done some equipment edits like visor color, flak jacket, etc. Small stuff that was easy to implement. Nothing big here yet.


I'm going to do some test runs myself and then I think I can release a few test classes for you guys for some feedback.


I will say my draft gem/bust randomizer is working beautifully. You will want to scout some of those UDFA. In one test I had the #4 overall pick come out at 69 Ovr and a projected UDFA be 80 Ovr. Now those are extremes but it's working quite well.

tdawg just so I understand, is the file you attached a 2019 update draft class?

If not, I found one online that'll get me by for now but have no idea how to edit the traits for them to match my roster

The file I have attached is a 2019 draft class but it is still a test file. I wouldn't use it in a real CFM.


As far as editing the traits its really easy once you know what to do. Basically you export the draft class to excel using amp, make your edits, create a new draft class file from your edited excel file using amp, and then load in game. It's super easy. Later today I'll give you a run down on what columns need editing and what the numbers refer too.

No. I know what two columns change the portrait but I haven't tried adding a costume one. I would imagine you would have to edit an existing generic portrait using Frosty and then you could insert that one as long as you knew the two id numbers.

UPDATE 12/30

I am done mostly. Everything is working great as far as the conversion goes. I will need to run just a couple more tests. For whatever reason DE and LB seems to come in a little light on good players. Now this could just be a soft class for those positions but I want to run a 6 season sim on Ncaa to see if it's a trend or it all balances out. If that goes right I will begin working on my first draft class then.


As far as releasing the excel workbook I'm not there quite yet. I could do it now but I need to release a tutorial for sure on what to do. It is not hard really but you need to set up the roster file from Ncaa in a specific way to make sure everything works correctly. I hope to have this part done in a few weeks. My main focus is to release 2-4 draft classes first.


I will be working on body type stuff and equipment stuff still but that is more cosmetic. What I have now still works great it's just a bit more generic.


As far a draft classes go I plan on giving as much info as possible about what is happening in Ncaa to give a good backstory for all players. I don't have a great format on this part yet so it will be trial and error at first. I was planning on doing the 4 team playoff but I'm not sure I want to do the extra effort that is involved with that. Every time you take the game from the Xbox and edit it on the PC you run the chance of bricking your save. So it may just be the old BCS way. Thinking awards, stats, top players, and general season info is a must. We'll see.

Is there any more update to this conversion mod? Please release the spreadsheet & apps to convert NCAA 14 draft class. This is the only option we have to transfer college players until EA releases NCAA 20, thanks much.

This looks awesome. As someone who loves NCAA to death, but has always wanted to be able to send the draft classes to madden, what you are doing is amazing. Instead of having to remember seasons worth of data and ratings, you are going to make this so much easier. THANK YOU

So here's the thing. It works great but it isn't super user friendly yet. I haven't had time to sit down and streamline it. I should have a good block of time in a couple of weeks to work on my projects so hopefully soon.

That's another issue I have is I keep starting new projects lol. Besides this I'm working on a draft class generator with another guy from OS which has great potential but just takes a lot if time to get the ratings right. Also I've had the idea to come up with a new progression system for NCAA which will eliminate the current one. So many ideas and never enough time lol.
