Sorry guys....made a mistake entering version 2. Fumble should be set to 40 for both sides...updating previous post and OP in a sec.

Josh,it's funny you mention normal speed....I have actually been going back and forth with this, and while I do like playing on slow,it just seems like the animations don't seem as "rubbery"....and it's actually not that bad in comparison to slow.

I have also been working "behind the scenes" on my original set that I had when I first got the game, with some of your settings as well....I didn't try that set on normal speed yet,but I will and post back.

Oh yea,I moved my fatigue to 80 (not messing with auto subs) and I'm currently using 0 threshold.

Re: JoshC1977's AP Slider Set (based on NCAA 14 OS Slider Set)

OK....just got done playing against Green Bay with my "mashed" up sliders, and something happened that has NEVER happened to me in a Madden game before.

I was actually shut out!....19-0,and the worst part?...I was held to something like 59 yards on offense the entire game...lmao

This was played as I mentioned earlier with my "mashed" up slider set,on normal speed (will be sticking here) and 0 threshold.

GB's defense stuffed the living turkey outta me...lol while Rodgers did go 16-20 (with Josh's QB settings) I didn't really mind that,as Rodgers is a top tier QB.

What WAS nice to see,was Rodgers got hurt for a bit,and Flynn came in going 1/4 with an int...so it was nice to see the backup didn't torch me like Clemens did when Rivers went down.

The only issue?? surprise,surprise...the sacks...I sacked Rodgers 5 times...but to be fair Roethlisberger was sacked 5 times as well.

I am half tempted to try All-Madden with sliders heavily in favor of the human to see if the sack issue is there as well.

I will say though...in my test sliders (not Josh's)...I had CPU PBL @0,and seen more double team blocks, especially when I blitzed....which I didn't see on any other settings.

So its the same thing if I go in and change everything inside my CFM manually as opposed to importing the sliders right?

If it plays like last years, you'll want to make any changes outside of CFM,then load the sliders once you get into your CFM.

I haven't played CFM yet,so I'm not 100% sure on that, but that's what was needed in the past.

I agree with Cowher; I would continue doing this as well.

Man Cowher, sounds like you got man-handled...lol. Interesting observation about the CPU PBK slider though....something I would note moving forward.

A couple of refinements guys (OP updated to reflect this):

                • Increase WRC to 40 for both User and CPU - WRs seem to be more aggressive going after the ball
                • Drop Offsides and False Start to 80 to make both sides less "jumpy" - may lower more.

One thing I am testing (but have not updated) is to increase Hum PBK to 50...I could swear I was feeling more pressure at that setting - could be placebo though.

OK....so I wanted to try something different here,I plugged in BlueNinja's All Madden sliders because I wanted to see if AM would play "smarter"...well,I ended up sacking Manning 6 times...BUT,I had forgotten to put it on normal speed...so it's to soon to say either way.

I also mixed in some of the changes from Josh's sliders as well...and there was quite alot that I liked from the game...I did however have to lower CPU QBA to 4,as even at 7 Eli was deadly accurate.

I was hoping that AM would play similar to Heisman difficulty in NCAA..and while the game was fun (especially after the beatdown GB put on me...lmao)
I was really hoping the CPU QB would play a bit smarter...but as I mentioned though, this game was played on slow...so maybe normal would yield better results?...who knows...lol

Just wanted to pop in real quick...

I made a few changes to the AM set,and yes I put the speed on normal...lol

I had to up CPU QBA to 5,as Hoyer is 4/12 at the half...lmao I made a change to the CPU RB as well, and at the half...Tate has 75 yards with a long of 27.

But the best part??..I haven't sacked Hoyer once!!....that's right, not 1 single solitary sack. Oh I've been close, but he's doing an excellent job of avoiding my best blitz attempts.

Re: JoshC1977's AP Slider Set (based on NCAA 14 OS Slider Set)

Alright, after a day with testing, switching things, reading comments, looking at posts, finally watching few guys on twitch... I have figured a few things out.

                        Here we go;

                        1. Pass blocking is very interesting... Why so? I was watching Armor and sword on twitch testing and etc... He jacked CPU pass block to 99, guess what? Nothing got better, actually it got worse... He had 2 to 3 defensive of players exploding through the line like it was nothing there. Crazy!😱

2: WR catching... I think I found a sweat spot. I was playing around with it, had it at 25 for cpu, so tons of drops, so I bumped it up to 30, still saw a bit... Finally, made a adjustment to 40. I find it A LOT better!

                        3. CPU field goals. They always seem automatic. That is annoying. Haha. I found to lower FG accuracy and leave FG power alone or boost it it between 50-55 or drop it 50-45. I haven't completely finished the testing, but, I seen in 3 games, combined 4 missed field goals.

                        4. Normal speed is the way to go, one, the animations and players are better. They look like NFL players running, it has definitely help sacks go down, Its a fast past.

Int grounding, this penalty I have been playing around with for a while, I find the best area is 0-10 range... I like 7 the best tho.

                        Anyways, more testing today.

                          1. I agree, definitely inverted for the Hum side - 50 is working great. Not sure about CPU side.

                          2. See OP....already set both to 40, loving it there too. Great minds

                          3. I think 50 is good for range. 35 is too low and will result in some of those weird artifacts where the kicker will completely flub it (coming up 20 yards short). The sweet spot is in-between.

                          4. Agreed. Normal is 100% better. As far as IG, I like it where it is right now at 50 with my current set.

Having an absolute blast with this game right now!! I'm going to make one more update (Human RBK to 50) and then a reference for autosubs and that is going to be my base set for a while.

DAMN.....what a game. Cleveland completely shut down my running game, while I couldn't stop theirs....they had some problems containing Big Ben,but his effort was not enough without a strong running game to back him up.

The best part?....there were exactly 0 sacks on Hoyer...that's right,I played my first game without sacking the QB...and it was GREAT!....lol

What I did do however, was turn off all defensive notifications...so I had no button prompts to show me what move to make as I was blitzing...it was great because I figured it would make the sacks more rewarding...well if I would've got one....lol
