20 sounds like a good number. Also I plan to look into how the CPU is spending the xp compared to past year.

I am doing the 10 year sim right now but first I checked out a draft class and I can confirm that unfortunately the bug from last year still exists where all the best generated rookie QBs have Ideal sense pressure trait. This makes the sack totals across the league very low. This could effect the xp sliders. For example, someone like me who goes in and edits all the rookie QBs to have random sense pressure trait may have higher rated lineman and linebackers since they get more sacks compared to leaving them all Ideal sense pressure. I'm not sure if sacks would also effect the offensive line and QB progression too. Something to keep in mind. Though I don't believe we accounted for this with last years XP sliders and those seemed to please everyone, so its probably not a big deal.Comment

I would think after we get these number dialed in maybe me and you could run a few sims and fix the Trait each year (I know it's gonna be time consuming) just to make sure. But definitely let's get the base set solidified first.

Just finished first 10 year sim using the set from update 8/22 5:31am (pst) on the original post, heres the results:
QBs 90% (Base Rosters Total in Parenthesis)
95-99 1 (3)
90-94 3 (5)
85-89 10 (7)
80-84 13 (10)
Seems good
HBs 110%
95-99 0 (2)
90-94 6 (4)
85-89 9 (22)
80-84 12 (25)
going to be tough to match the nearly 50 players rated 80-89 on the base roster. at least the top end is looking pretty accurate. I'd bump this one up higher.

QB looks solid. That one is really hard to find balance. It's either way to heavy or good but no high end. Those look great though.
HB was one 9f those positions the base roster was stupid on. Like those numbers.
WR and FB look good.
TE still seems a little high to me. Maybe drop to 100% to see what that gives us.
Linemen are tough. Raise T to 76% but I'd keep G where it's at for a few more sims and C is good to.
DE look good. You could try 84%. DT is good.
OLB and MLB look good. I think you may have had an outlier season with MLB. We'll keep an eye on it.
CB looks good.
FS and SS are really tough. You raise either and you end up having 30+ guys over 80 and it's becomes overloaded. You drop it and the total number over 80 is good but high end is hard to come by. Pick your poison on this one. I'd say keep it where it is.
Good stuff. Keep it coming. I'm gonna create a compiled spreadsheet later tonight for each position and at what percentage we used to really see how thing stack up. The more data the better.

Good idea on not putting much importance on the base rosters. I guess there really is no need to have the sliders match them. As long as it's balanced and realistic it doesn't matter. One idea about the FS and SS would be to edit some of them after the draft each year to give them quick development. So some of the midtier guys can become 90+. Thanks for the input!

Don't see it here....but one thing ea is looking at is reworking the calculation for overall for WRs. It too heavily favors rte running so a lot of draftees are coming in at insanely low overalls. Will come in a future patch....so that might be some of the weirdness in nailing down the XP setting.

Update has been posted in OP. Very small tweaks right now. Most positions are really close. You can most definitely start a CFM with these and be just fine. If I need to adjust anymore it won't be by much and you could just update as we go. We are now in the process of just getting as much data sets as we can with the same percentages to make sure they stay inline. Anybody who want's to help that'd be great. Just send me your data like BleedGreen710 did. I am compiling everything into one spreadsheet for easy viewing. I want to try to get at least 10 sims in at the finalized or close to finalized percentages.Comment

Well crap guys. Was going to try to knock out a few sims tonight but it's not letting me load the game. I got the standard edition that doesn't come out tell Friday and even though I have 3 hours left on my trial it's just not loading. Bummer.Comment
