I just started testing the Hybrid version again so there might be some tweaks coming soon.



I had spent the last two weeks on CPU vs CPU testing and kind of ignored the USER sets

Ok thanks for the quick reply.

I was using them on CG and they played great each game felt different.
I really had to try to win games haven’t had that on madden in a very long time especially on pro. Use to have to try and lose lol.
Was seeing a good amount of penalties and the CPU run game was a threat.

That's interesting because last year it seems like NG sliders didn't transfer well to CG systems.

Penalties may not be the same because I think sliders are hit or miss for penalties at the moment. I'm not getting the same penalties as I got last year that's for sure in terms of variety calls.

On madden 21, i just saw a missed pat. It’s in heavy rain, play now. Ravens vs redskins. Mckissick scored on a 68 yard td in a defensive slugfest to give Washington a 9-6 lead late in the third. Then came the missed pat. He dinked it off the right upright.

I’ve seen misses before but it was some kind of glitch where the k missed every kick in that game. the kicker has made a fg. Tucker has hit 2 as well. This felt like a legit miss.

I have edited the kickers and im using 70 kick power and 35 kick accuracy sliders. I used the kickers real life % from last year. I’ve seen way more misses on shorter fg. Seen them miss a 34 yarder at an angle the other day.

I do have FGA at 35 on the last update for the CPU vs CPU 2nd version.

Will most likely make that the base set for both CPU sets....

I put Power at 90 which helps them drive the ball because so many guys are capable of having that distance in today's NFL. But the 35 Accuracy has allowed some of those kicks despite having the distance still miss just wide.

I didn't see any missed PAT's yet......

Just another example of why I feel EA needs to expand either give kickers a rating for kicking splits or add some type of distance sliders to represent the splits in the game.

Week one Greg Z cost the Cowboys with missed extra point and two FG's

This week the Minnesota kicker same thing missed extra point and FG cost them the Cardinals game.

I just feel as if at this stage of Madden on new high powered gamming systems some of these things like editing K's and QB's shouldn't be the norm anymore to get this types of results especially since we these things every weekend in the NFL.

Got some changes coming to the USER vs CPU Sliders

game has been out awhile so I'm going to beef up the CPU Defense.

You'll get used to the increased defense after awhile it'll just make the CPU react quicker to the pass and run.

These settings were actually posted a few weeks ago for added difficulty as 2nd option

Pass Reaction-80 (Increased up from 50)
INT-65 (This will remain the same)
Pass Coverage-(90) This will remain the same)
Tackling-65 (Increased up from 50)

No Changes to the Human offensive Sliders I'm good with those because you can still move the ball.

May Also tweak CPU WR Catch and bump up to 65 after further testing.

Hey, I know this isn’t a slider question but it’s a a CPU vs CPU question and you guys seem to know the most:
I’m playing with X factor SS abilities on, but in game they only seem to appear for the opposing team… anyone know why this is?

You need to turn on the graphics for the controller team. The abilities are on but if you turned off all the graphic settings then the graphics don’t show up. It is somewhere under the team settings. I will look in a couple minutes for exactly where that is.

Played a few more games with the following USER Offense vs CPU Defensive setup.

They (CPU) really close on the ball much better with the higher reaction slider since we are using the threshold on the lower end to balance it out.

User Offense (No changes to original base settings as I preferred to just adjust CPU defensive sliders to matchup better)

QBA-5
Pass Blocking-0
WR Catch-40
Run Block-0
Fumbles-5 (Again this appears low but trust me it works especially if you cover up the ball when CPU goes for strip tackles)

CPU Defense (Higher Reaction helps CPU Close and Cover up passing lanes with the lower threshold we are using)

Pass Reaction-90 (Seems high but this is Pro really speeds up the CPU defense to react to USER)
INT-65
Pass Coverage-90
Tackle-65

I will continue to test USER Defense vs CPU Offense this weekend before providing any update.....

Right now the only Change I've made for CPU Offense is WR Catch at 65 up from 60 (original Base setting)
