    Yeah I was watching games and testing at the same time myself.

    Really disappointed that UGA and Ohio St games were both out of hand today. I expected better matchups, but I can't say I was shocked by Oregon and Notre Dame who are both constantly overrated LOL

    That game between Denver and Seattle had 0 sacks allowed by both teams.

    I mean I want to reduce sacks but not to the point of 0 LOL

    Could have just been that game but I'll test some more tomorrow

      MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
      Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

          the florida utah game was the best of the say. florida looked good. both teams did. felt like an old school football game.

          ran the sliders last night. liked what saw. gonna watch a few more games. probably will need some slight adjustments.

                Most sliders are still close to default for CPU vs CPU.

                These should be good even after the roster update because I built them around lower tiered players in the roster data base.

                That is essentially what Pro is the average players on each roster that are not All Pro or HOF type players.

                Those players will still shine above the avg guys though because of their ratings being higher doing gameplay.

                Seeing Drew Lock go up against Russell Wilson last night was terrific because Lock was clearly the lesser QB in that matchup and Denver dominated most of that game until Seattle got some garbage time TD's.

                Make sure you set the Sliders in the MM and then upload in Franchise mode.

                After every week of my games, I repeat the process to keep wonky things from happening.

                    New here. Are the CPU vs CPU sliders specifically for watching on slow sim? Or Are these sliders for accurate franchise simming(advancing weeks) from the menu?

                    I enjoy advancing week by week in my franchise and just want to find some good sliders for that kind of franchise.

                      Yeah, you have to actually Slow SIM and watch your team play every week.

                      Sliders don't effect regular SIMMED GAMES those are controlled by specific ratings only

                      For example, Run Block and Pass Block only applies to SIMMED Games.

                      However, the Run Block Footwork & Pass Block Footwork ratings work in Played games.

                      QB only uses awareness for SIMMED Games

                      His 3 primary accuracy ratings Short, Medium and Long are only being utilzed in games you play or watch vs CPU.

                        Gotcha, that is very helpful. If I want league-wide statistics to be similar, do I need to slow sim watch those games as well? I don't mind slow sim watching my own teams games, but every team each week would be too much. I'm just trying to sim and get accurate stats at end of season.

                          $71M in the backfield and the update takes them completely out of the game.

                          I think I'll try the new passing sliders and the original rushing ones. The run game was perfectly set. Game still to pass dependant. How do you lower qb acc and they throw more? God I hate EA slider logic. I really thought it would be more defensive but some how they pass MORE now and still as accurate. I'm seeing qbs throwing +40 times now. Ya, accuracies has gone down, but still pass more despite having strong backfield.
                          Up by 20 and under 4 min left, still 5/1 passing

                          Not being negative. Just got to find the balance. I'm really baffled how this setup creates more passing. Thought for sure it was the balance.

                            madden simmed stats are kind of funny now. theyused to be a little better, outside of the qbs not getting enough rushing yards. they fixed qb rushing, but the passing stats are a tad higher.

                            early on, these seem to be matching the simmed season stats of madden.

                            I simmed a season and did the averages:

                            Madden simmed season:

                            Total offense-375
                            Points per game-26.1
                            First downs-18.5
                            Passing-262
                            td passes-2
                            Ints-0.83
                            Completion %: 66%
                            Sacks 1.88
                            Rushing- 113
                            Rushing tds-1.3
                            fumbles lost-0.20
                            turnovers- 1.03

                            Points per game and passing are a little higher than real nfl averages from the past 5 years. Also fumbles rarely happen when you sim a season.

                            Early in my testing for xbox one, they not only produce great stats, the action of the field is fantastic. I think it’s possible to play as one team and for it to match p. You may lead the the leauge in fumbles on both sides though. But i like seeeing the fumbles. Should be 2 a game, 1 recovered in real life. On madden’s season sim, theydon’t fumble much at all. Several teams won’t have fumbles lr fumble recoveries. Personally i can live with my team having more fumbles. All the other stats seem to be inline with how madden sims stats.

                              Honestly, I don't really use EA's Playbooks and Rosters after I get the sliders up and running.

                              I'm more of a CPU vs CPU guy and I create Classic rosters and then tweak the Playbooks to force teams to run more than they will with EA's Default Playbooks.

                              The Problem for you my friend isn't with the Sliders in terms of Passing Frequency.

                              It's EA's game design........

                              They don't allow us the option to set Run//Pass Ratio's in Madden like they did NCAA 14.

                              If they gave us that option for these Sliders would kill it more because teams built to run with this set.

                              You may have to just roll up your sleeves and tinker with the Playbooks and Schemes to get the desired play calling your looking for by the CPU.

                              I know it's a past in the rear end, but reality is EA isn't going to worry about testing out CPU's playing calling tendencies doing a game for us.
