      After the latest madden update. I restarted my Texans franchise with the week 1 Rosters. I am using a 100% rookie team rated 70 OVR. Going into week 11 I am 4-5 because of the bye week I had. Kinda embarrassing to be 4-5 on pro lol. However nice to have that kind of challenge on pro.


      At least I completed my season goal 4 wins lol

        I plan on finally starting my Cowboys franchise this weekend

        I'll have Cooper Rush at QB so that should be interesting since his accuracy has always givin me more problems than Dak's with the QBA slider at 5

        But I enjoy the challenge of struggling with Cooper Rush because he'll miss misfire on quite a few passes

          Is everything up to date on the front post for CPU vs CPU or are you going to tweak some more things? Basically what I’m asking: are they franchise ready?

              While these are playing better then before. I am currently 6-7. I have never lost that many on pro lol the challenge is good. when you don't have a good QB HB or hell even a good O Line that can defend your passer these sliders are really challenging. With that said


              The interception issue for the CPU has gotten worse. I still throw around the same amount of INT as before however the cpu on the other hand I just got done playing Dallas and the QB threw 9 INT. I ran 3 Pick 6's in a row in the 1st Quarter alone.



              Here are the stats to my last game.


              For the cpu. You might want to look at what sliders may need to be changed without destroying the challenge. CPU Ints post patch is seriously worse then it was before with the same settings.

                I am having trouble with the CPU offense moving the ball? Not playing cheesy or anything an only controlling DLine. Anyone else seeing this?

                Also am using the higher slider values favoring the CPU

                    Lower the catch, Cit and SPC ratings of your defenders down to a range of 0-10

                    Then change their play the ball in the air trait to conservative


                    Just do this for your team only

                        Hey PM you’re not seeing any ridiculous amount of cpu interceptions with the slider at 55? I’ve tried a few games and they seem to grab almost every ball thrown their way I.e., 1v1, tips, etc

                          And tbh the only issue I've seen with the QBs this year has nothing to do with traits it's a game issue with INT's by EA coding.

                          But after I reduced my catch ratings for my team use the conservative trait CPU QBs have kept the turnovers pretty realistic.

                          Hell I've seen Tom Brady even with a pocket qb trait attempt to run on me this year when I lowered the tackle slider for user and in years past Brady or any other pocket qb would never do that....

                          The AI QBs throw the ball away more this year to so I would be patient on qb traits and waite to see if EA patches Int's by the defenders

                          On my end I've adjusted to the game and I may throw 1 pick a game. I actually had to increase the CPU int slider on pro because they were dropping bad passes too much

                          This was before patch

                          I'll test this weekend with patch to see if that's still the case.

                            I raised it before the patch because of too many drops by CPU ai

                            Will test it this weekend as mentioned to see if that's still the case after the patch.

                            Only had a chance to witness CPU vs CPU gameplay post patch.

                              Thanks for the insight here. One last question about roster edits... I'm currently playing on AM. Would you recommend the same LB,DB edits for that level aswell? I know you dont play on that difficulty as much. Was just wanting a overall "consensus " on to whether it would be worth the time.

                                Made a recent discovery with the Gameday goal option in cfm. Playmakers and I have spoke about it in dms. This trick has greatly improved the game. I showed PM some boxscores offsite, and he can attest to it.. This trick really helps balance out the run/pass ratio to a realistic level. And this in turn fixes the game.

                                This may be the big reason guys are seeing too many picks on next gen. It hasn’t been.a prob, too many picks, on xbox one. But there’s a choice for causing turnovers in these Gameday Strategies that increases turnovers. It’s best not to use that one. Now when i do this gameday strategies, I do them for the team I’m playing as well by taking ownership/coach-ship of the team I’m playing. If you don’t do both teams, you’ll probably see the unbalanced play by the team you’re pitted against.

                                Here’s how you do it:

                                In cfm, go to manage staff in the first tab called home. Click the first option, Franchise staff. Inside the head coach will have two options. View talent tree and select games day goal. Do gameday goal. Inside gameday goals for head coach choose no sacks allowed, allow under 200 yards or win turnover battle. For offensive coordinator choose 350 offensive yards. For defensive coordinator choose any I think. On weekly gameplay choose 200 yards rushing. These settings seem to offer the best experiences. When u use the passing yard boosts they throw the ball too much and it throws the game out of whack. I'd also only use the turn over battle one 4 times a year. It can cause quite a few. If I do one team I do the other I'm playing. And if I use turnover battle I use it for both teams so one team doesn't have a decisive edgE.
