I’m learning that switching from classic passing to placement and accuracy helps the INT issue. The LBS are still jumping slants over the middle but the placement and accuracy is a way to combat that once you get the hang of it.

I’m honestly surprised so many people are using classic passing this year instead of the new mechanics which open up the passing game so much. I’ve been playing this game since the Commodore version and I am truly in awe of the passes I am able to make this year.

If you are like me and prefer ratings to matter more than stick skills then only use the placement option as it still incorporates the dice roll for accuracy on the throw.

Apologies if this has been asked/answered but should I edit the 3 attributes for my DBs/LBs as well? Or just AI ones? I feel like my defensive players are always less aggressive than the AIs and sometimes won't even make an attempt at a ball in the air

Starting to see the edits are really only needed for your team.

I am not having interception issues on my end with my QB.

Just played a game…no edits for my opponent and I was fine. Threw one pick and all on me. Did not put enough air on the pass.

The CPU QB is the core issue with tossing too many picks.

Anyway….I am going to go back and edit back the 6 teams I have done thus far in my second year of chise.

Let’s also see if EA addresses the CPU pick problem.

I am having a blast with this years game and deeply immersed in my Dolphins franchise. We are getting amazing games and now sit at 3-3.

Rookie QB Adam Butler is a special generational talent!!! So much fun playing with him.

New patch out. Supposedly helps with tipped INTs.

I went ahead and decreased the catch ratings/traits for LBs and DBs. The game plays a lot different. You can throw the ball deeper now than before, where it was mostly dink and dunk. The elite QBs play so much different because of this.

A few other things I’ve been doing as of late. Making sure very WR, TE and HB has “yes” for the three catch types under traits. Opens up the animations a lot and helps the WR be more aggressive. I’ve also turned off progressive fatigue (left practice injuries on). I feel like it gives the user a huge advantage, especially late in the season, because your awareness as a human is not effected by the fatigue, while the CPU players are.

Last game I played vs the Giants I won 23-20 in OT. Tyrod threw his first interception of the game in OT. His final stat line was 26/41 259 2/1.

Great ideas. I’ve never understood why people are so enamored with progressive fatigue. I turn it off all the time. Less is more in my opinion and having that off with superstar abilities off makes the game more enjoyable.

Great points.

But I saw zero issues later in the season with CPU progressive Fatigue. The logic was tuned properly and I like the strategic decisions I need to make late in the season and post season.

Gentlemen we are working on some adjustments post patch.

Please be patient.

A few things I can tell you is for CPU interceptions just adjust your team only.

I don’t see the need to adjust the cpu teams catch ratings at all for interceptions on my end. I am fine and have adjusted to the better secondary play.

Just knock down your LB’s/DB/S’s catch ratings by 20

Also set play ball in the air to Conservative.

For true Ball Hawks just knock em down 10 and set play ball in air to balanced.

Works fantastic.

Game is playing amazing. Just had a superb game at Buffalo. However I noticed post patch on human catch at 25 incessant wide open drops.

Tyreek Hill dropped 4 wide open balls on his hands.

Waddle the same.

1 or 2 ok….but these were canned animated wide open drops. Just to need to tweak the human catch slider now. Something changed post patch.

Hey Armor, thanks for your work and input to the community. Have a question. Is it possible to edit ratings of players while in franchise mode. I want to input your ratings suggestions however I have an ongoing franchise that I have relocated 18 teams. If I have to back out of franchise to do these edits, well the relocations take a great deal of time and I would rather not start over with these relocations.

I did a google search on the matter and believe I found a way to do it but it looks quite complicated. Just checking to see if you know of a way to do this. Thanks.
