    What was default injury slider? Think it needs to be dropped to that. I want injuries but not 5 before halftime in week 1 lol.

      Sliders are good for sure and I had been using very similar ones for the few days before you posted yours. I guess I'm just questioning how we feel about the "feel" of the game on All-Pro. Let me clarify.

      I am getting good outcomes as far as stats, scores and such....but it feels very robotic to me now. I played a game as the Browns against the Patriots and Nick Chubb was hurt so Kareem Hunt was my main back. I busted a single run on my first drive for a 55yd TD. I thought it was going to be a good feeling game but after that it was all defense. And not in a good way. Every time I touched the ball the defense was in the backfield nailing me with WWE explosive hits that send Hunt flying. Whenever there was a crease I'd head into it and it feels like a get sucked into a chaotic series of bam-boom-smash! animations that I cannot even seem to tell what happened except that the "smash" was the WWE Smackdown hit that sends Hunt flying sideways or backwards. It happened A lot! A lot a lot!

      I never see drag down tackles or momentum propelling players forward. Even when I was using Chubb running full speed in space, a single db can knock him back and it's the difference between a first down and 3rd and 1. His mass, strength and momentum will allow him to fall forward 90% of the time. All Pro seems to negate this momentum completely. PRetty much every time too.

      Also, while not seeing super human interceptions as much, I am seeing super human recoveries by beaten dbs where they make up a 5 yds of lost ground instantly to leap and bat balls down. It doesn't look natural to me. It looks artificial to create a "harder game" than Pro. While it succeeds, I find the actual gameplay to feel a little less like football. I don't know. Madden isn't perfect anyway but something just feels a little off to achieve more competition from CPU.

      This is not actually related to Armors exact settings. It's an All Pro thing or a recent patch thing. I like the game to be more competitive but wish it didn't feel artificial.

      Does anyone else feel this or am I crazy?

        I definitely didn't see any of that. Now just one game, but I saw some good tackle animations. Each back had over 120yds on 23+ carries. Gonna have to raise auto subs for RBs and DL so the backup gets some carries, but anyways.



        There is the video of the game I played. There was some good hits pushing RB forward. Had one where my DT grabbed Aaron Jones from behind and pull him backwards. I wanted him to German suplex him lol but he's no Brock Lesnar.

          Hey Armor, when going through each team's weekly strategy using 32 team control, are you seeing any difference in what they're doing? I've noticed that planning in Week 2 of my franchise every team has had the same options selected which I find....strange.

          It's not a big deal because I can work around it myself but I'd like to NOT to unless given a scenario ya know? Just wanted to see if you or anyone else has noticed this.

            Watched the first half of your Vikings packers game and I didn't see any of the "over the top" tackles that I am constantly seeing against me. Maybe I need to check the heat seeker setting and see if it is on? Cause I am getting popped 20 times a game. I always hold the R1 button to protect the ball so I hardly fumble but man...these hits are like highlight hits you see once a game at most in real life.

            I know it's just an "urban legend" but maybe I should delete Madden and redownload. There are some that swear it fixes little oddities sometimes that might pop up from a patch or something. I will keep you posted. Thanks for the video!

              Does anyone else feel like the INT slider for both HUM & CPU needs raising? I am glade the superman INTS are nerfed however I am getting a little tired of DB'S standing by them self un contested and just watching the ball bounce out of their hands. I see it like 2 or 3 times a game from both me and the cpu. That is the only downside of this slider set everything else is fine in my opinion.


              I had a great 1st game of the season against the colts. Lost 20-23. I don't know if it's the slider set or just all pro but man 10 point attribute makes a difference. I have 1 QB that is 58 or 59 and another that is I believe around 67. I started the 58 rated one for the 1st 3 quarters. I couldn't do anything lol. I was behind the whole game. I loved it! Then in the 4th quarter I brought in my 67 OVR QB and I scored 2 TDs to tie it 20-20. With less then 30 seconds left in the game the colts kicked a FG to win 23-20 it was one of the best games I have had in a long time.

                Might be dumb question but how does these run if I’m not doing settings you do? I’m running a franchise with my brother each controlling a different team. Do you have to run your own 32 man franchise to get good results with these sliders or they work for any cpu vs user game?

                  Yeah, only one game but felt it would've been nice to see at least 1int by each QB that game. Patrick Peterson stepped in front of one really nicely that very well could've been like a 95yd pick 6 but dropped. Packers DB dropped at least two where I'd been good with one of those being picked. I'll probably raise it to 7 next game and see how it is. I never played pre patch but I heard all about it and couldn't imagine.

                    In regards to my post earlier, I went back to my saved CFM wk 3, changed it to All Pro and loaded all the appropriate sliders and faced the Steelers on Thursday night football. I ended up winning 18-10 with no TDs and 6 field goals. The score was 12-3 at half and on the first drive Mitch Trubisky heaves a bomb to Dionte Johnson who is 1on1 with Ward. The ball is in the air forever we are step for step, I switch to Ward just before the ball get's there and hit Y and ward stops in his tracks and Johnson catches it on the 5yd line and scores. Ugh. I've seen this issue before but not for a while. I thought that was what switch assist was for....whatever.

                    I had an interception with Brissett where I hit the wrong dang button. I was trying to hit a tight end on a crossing route and accidentally hung it up deep to Amari Cooper who was double covered. Minkah Fitzpatrick goes up and gets it. Ugh. It happens. Denzel Ward picked off Trubisky in the middle of the field on a busted play or something. 3 receivers were in the middle and ran into each other and the ball sailed just pass them into Wards arms. The int looked natural but the receivers getting caught up on each other was different. At least the CPU can make route running mistakes I guess!

                    The game played well enough between the 20s but inside the redzone things were tough. I was up 15-10 inside 2 minute warning and tried to run out the clock but Chubb got stopped 3 times in a row. There's like 1:30 left and I attempt a 63 yard field goal and make it. 18-10 now.

                    Of course, in typical Madden fashion, the anemic Trubisky suddenly becomes Tom Brady and starts a potential game tying drive. I guess if there is good news is it felt earned a little. I forced them into 3 4th downs on the drive and they converted 2 of them. The final one was with 4 seconds on the clock and they were on my 9 yard line. Trubisky overthrew Pickens in the corner of the endzone as the clock expired. Wheww.....good game. I hope they aren't all this hard though.

                    The only thing I found a little odd was that Trubisky threw the ball away in odd places. Once I was getting pressure on him in the pocket and he heaved it out of bounds and it didn't make the line of scrimmage. I have intentional grounding off as A&S suggests. Does that make them go ahead and throw it away more?

                    Also, Trubisky started to scramble and broke out of the pocket and had the angle to the sidelines. I was running towards him and he could have gotten 10 yds but instead throws it out of bounds right at the line of scrimmage. Weird. This is the first game I played with intentional grounding off and I saw these 2 things and was wondering if they were linked somehow.

                    Anyway, I will play a few more games and see how it goes. I can't really seem to get my passing game going other than slants and little dump offs. My receivers downfield seem to drop everything if they are even touched by the CPU defender yet the CPU WRs hang on to everything even when I nail them as they are catching the ball. hmmm....just some musings.

                      That sounds like a good game. 6 FG must of been defensive heavy. I think its great that a game can end that way on all pro. In madden 22 that would of never happened on all pro.


                      I have played a total of 4 games with this all pro slider set. 3 pre season and 1 regular season and they all felt different in their own way. They are not all defense heavy games. This is my 1st all pro slider set i played with when it comes to madden 23, so not sure if its the skill level or the sliders but i can tell the difference in my 2 QBs which I like. Any way the game you described sounds like it was a lot of fun.

                        I am totally happy that we live in a generation where we "have" sliders to tune the game to our liking....but I have to say....I kind of miss the simplicity of the older games where you just "got what you got" and lived with it. No sliders. No patches. You just played.

                        The games may not have been as good but darnit, you just played them and didn't have to spend all your time wondering if you just tweak this, or that, would it be better? You don't have to wonder "Did that guy miss the tackle because I set the slider too low?"
                        Sometimes current gen games feel like work!

                          Been gaming since the Atari days so I know how you feel. Maybe until sliders come along we just didn't know if the game played right or not. Lol. The Sega genesis version of madden probably played better then the game play we get now. Back then it was more about gameplay then what mode developers made the most money off

                            I played the next game in my franchise which was the Browns against the Falcons. It was a close game initially. I drove down but sputtered in the red zone and had to kick a field goal. Falcons took it to me and drove down for 7. Pretty realistic drive. I drove again and got a score to make it 10-7. Then on the ensuing kickoff they fumbled and I picked it up to get TD. 17-7. I scored again before the half and it was 24-7. They drove the first drive of the second half for a TD and it was 24-14.

                            After that it went off the rails and I ended up winning 48-24. It wasn't unrealistic but they just couldn't stop me. Brisset had about 240 passing yds and a 66% comp. Chubb had 166yds on 31 carries but honestly 50+ of that was on the final drive where I was just running down the clock. I actually scored a TD with him on that drive because I guess they just were too tired and I started gashing them with 10-12yd runs with HB dives to eat clock. I probably should have taken a knee. They didn't even use time outs. Not even at 1:01.

                            Anyway....the only thing I can really say that was odd (beside the last game my only scoring was on 6 field goals) I have seen 0 penalties in the 2 games I have played. Not one. Penalties had been at 90 and I saw 3-4 holds a game but since I switched to All Pro and 80 for penalties they have been non existent for me.

                            I have to play the chargers next and maybe then I will have a better feel for these sliders. My first 2 franchise games were "waaaaaayyyyy" different considering the sliders didn't change.

                            Also....I have not been seeing as many WWE tackles but man....Chubb gets obliterated on inside runs 8-9 times a game and looks like a rag doll punched by the hulk! I never see anything like that in real life. It's like NFL blitz!

                              I've played two games as the Cowboys with these settings and the only thing I've noticed that has me wondering is the 8 sacks I had against Cincinnati. I also had 5 against Brady and the Bucs the week before.

                              So, I'm wondering if it's just the Cowboys seeing these sacks or maybe I need to do something like raise cpu qb acc or maybe raise the cpu pass blocking?

                              I hate to adjust anything because I'm just not sure how it might effect the other sliders... Ugh.

                              Suggestions? Should I just play more games and see? 8 sacks is a lot and I've never seen Brady get sacked 5 times in one game, either.

                                Cowboys D line is crazy good and maybe even a little over rated in this game, which makes them even better. I’ve been toying around with CPU QB ACC at 50 and their PB at 65, getting pretty good results.
