I’m super excited - I had the best time playing 22 for the first few months last year. One of my favourite gaming memories was the NFC Championship game vs. Dallas. I was Green Bay - such great story lines….return of McCarthy; Adams and Rodgers “last dance”.

The game came down to a 4th and Goal. I was up by 6 I believe. Dallas had the ball. Shotgun formation and Dak began to scramble towards the goal line. He was tackled a yard short and we won the game and ultimately the Super Bowl. Rodgers was traded in the off season to Miami for a boatload of picks.

At the time I thought, why would you call a QB draw there? Stupid EA programming. And then 2 months later in real life, McCarthy called a god dammed QB draw in their game against the 49ers in the waning moments. I howled at the TV remembering my earlier Madden experience.

I hope this year provides just as many memorable moments!!

I hate that EA is practically forcing you to USER. When I play sports "simulations" I enjoy player attributes deciding who wins

I played my first test game on Pro and I did not switch…..at all.

Sloopy, hard nosed game. It was great.

We are onto something and I am glad I plunged into Pro level because it made a huge difference on many fronts.

Lot of testing to do….but man I am sold and if this keeps up….we will touch up the OP in terms of switch or no switch.

I think it is users choice. I don’t think there is anything wrong with ever playing the game the way you want. Whatever works for you is the right way.

Can you let us know how to set up the 32 team control...i ie the manual/auto settings you use?

I know to have everyone as owner but which auto settings do you use for each "non user" team?

Armor, we were just talking about front page sports football on your twitch page. Since we are the same age and grew up playing all of the same sports games. Here is a great role playing sim football game. This one is the 1979 version and it’s still a blast to play! There’s a few Pay Dirt FB groups dedicated to the game.

Doing my own but I have mad respect for PM and his knowledge. He is a legend around here.

I always used his NCAA sliders. Love them.

From my understanding injuries are not a thing on COMP mode so that is a no go for me.

All testing is being done on SIM mode.

OP has been updated with our BETA Test set.

Trust the settings.....play a lot of games using various matchups and teams.


I will be streaming all night tonight so come out and hang and have some fun and engaging and sometimes not so engaging conversations LOL. We do have a good time.


See you all later and yes we are going to run a 32 team control franchise again using the manifesto.....and we will also document it on the OP again.

Also we are looking forward to ITeachpercussions 1987 Classic roster set and will run a 1987 Season Replay no doubt.

And with NBA2K23 coming out in a few weeks.....yeah we are all over that game as well and expect a slider set too for the Era’s modes.......my god.....it looks AMAZING!!!!!

100% agree, I STILL use his for NCAA as well.

I was just checking as you said you were gonna poke around with his. Wanted to be on the same page.

I appreciate you taking the time to tinker around with this stuff. Only reason why I went through with my purchase of the game is cause I know you would figure it out some ways to easy down on the INT's [emoji1787]

Being 37 with 5 kids, I don't have the time.
