A few things, i am in LOVE with the pocket, it really shows and on that td pass it looked very authentic, Romo got the snap and moved 3 yards,instead of 20 and launched the ball, THOUGHT THAT WAS AWESOME. McNabb got creamed so that was fun to watch, and i like the analysis of the play there. For a work in progress, this game is looking REALLY REALLY good.

The fumble pile up was great.

The lineman jumping on the pile was over the top and choppy, but the rest looked good there

Not going to say too much, it might just be the plays called on D, but I'm not happy with the pocket by any means.

I agree, especially at about 1:04 in. The outside rushers don't really loop around the edge at all. The OT's just kinda block straight up, instead of having to open up towards the sideline more.

Hopefully they can have it cleaned up before launch.

I just watched that video of the Eagles vs the 'Boys and I was pleasantly surprised by that post TD cutscene with the the players pretty much mobbing Crayton.

I made a thread a while back about how the celebrations just seemed off in 09. The celebrations were too individualized and played out like solo acts on a stage, but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.

Plus how sick was it to see Romo on the phone with the coordinator during the drive summary and the players on the field for the coin toss once again? One word. Yowza.

I agree about the post TD multi player celebration with a big linemen and another player jumping around celebrating with the player that scored the TD...this is exactly what i kept pressing in here all last fall continously..and i was pretty happy to see it in that video..infact i was stoked..because these are the things that make playing a NFL Videogame "fun"... its these little things that give off that immersion factor to the gamer thats playing the game..it makes such a huge difference playing the game imho

Im pretty confident we got something special this year..i cant wait til august

I also loved the cut scene of the QB on the bench after that TD Toss while his teammate ran up and patted him on his shoulder...this is what madden needed so badly.

The thing is..i just hope they add enough variations of these cut scenes..otherwise too little and its gonna get old quick

A lot of nice presentational things going on. Nice animations and I think I'm going to like the fumble battle.

Hammond sounds terrible and this poor quality is unacceptable for a game that has come so far in one year. unacceptable.

I think this video was on all-pro or pro so the pocket did not form fast enough. Hopefully when playing on All-Madden the pocket will form correctly!!

Overall the game is looking great and has taken huge strides!! I'm very impressed so far with what I've seen. Not to mention they still have a few more weeks to tune the game after E3.

If it was on All Pro it should be forming faster. That's supposed to be the more realistic level. Secondly the DE's are engaging way too early and they are slow getting up the field. (That might be the results of the plays called.)

Both QB's could have gotten out if they wanted, they just chose to stay. Third that thing is too wide and slow forming. They have a little bit of time left to tune this game right. If that pocket does not set up faster then to me it is simply cosmetics. It is not going to mean a damn thing when a guy gets in the gun.

I like what I'm seeing this year, but are you serious with that comment? You do realize you're saying Madden 2010 will CRUSH a game from 2005 right? Sounds kinda stupid no? Your better off saying it will CRUSH Madden 2009 IMO...

No he is right by his statement, because no madden on current-gen has surpassed 2k5 yet. So madden10 might finally do it, i'm not getting my hopes up yet until presentation and franchise is revealed.

Outside of this great new online option, I'd have to say I really enjoy the level of presentation we're providing this year. From a better pre-game experience, to adding suspenseful moments, to better celebrating your victory in the Super Bowl, our presentation has taken a huge step forward. Overall, we're going back to our "it's in the game" roots and delivering an authentic and fun NFL experience.

the game looks alot better than before
the running still kinda looks a mess when maclin caught the ball and turned up looked kinda weird and the running back is way to high with the ball

im still intrested tho!

Well Ian is trying his best to tweak the running game as good as possible before it goes out fro productiomn in a few weeks.
