remember the old madden that had highlights of other games, i think it was on snes. anyone remember what year that was?

I believe that was 91.

It wasn't highlights...It was more like "bonus coverage." They'd show the final couple of plays from a game that went down to the wire.

This may arguably be the biggest jump in madden history with features that the hardcore players like myself have wanted for years. sure, they may not get everything in this year like most want....but make no mistake, madden will own come aug 14th!

Extra Point looks great! Though I wish there was a game highlights, everything still looks pretty slick. Also I couldn't help but notice that there seems to be no practice mode in franchise!! This bugged me alot last year and is something I was hoping for big time.
